“Lovely villa with a forest view.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 2, 2013

Loved this place! It's all I was looking for - very relaxing, secluded and with privacy. The surrounding forest of Ubud makes it very special and tranquil. Great location. Stayed here for 3 nights with my partner, breakfast included served on your private terrace and was very complete. Very friendly staff willing to help at any time. Walking distance from the Goa Gajah Temple (also known as the elephant cave) and just 10 minutes away from the center of Ubud. It's just a lovely place.

We stayed at Ubud Dedari Villas for five nights. The villas are very nice and beautiful. We really liked the outdoor bathroom and the nice pool area. Great deal for a great time in Ubud. The breakfast is good and served on your private terrace.
One negative thing is, that the villas are quite far away from Ubud city centre, close to Elephant cave temple (10 min by taxi). Sometimes the taxi drivers don't know the Villas, so make sure to have a business card from the hotel. in the evening don't order food from the menu just go to Ubud city center there are many great restaurants

A bit out the way but easy to find on a map. Wow. What a lovely place. Set on the side of a gorge with jungle views. Huge room with brilliant bad , lounge room, and dressing area. And a wonderful outdoor bathroom, very very private! Great little terrace with nice table and chair where we ate dinner and breakfast. There is no restaurant but because we were only there one night we ordered in. Yummy meals. But you can go out into a Ubud by taxi if you wish. Not that far away. Great infinity pool and a waterfall on the property down in the gorge but a very very steep climb! Terrific staff, and we were well looked after. We had a car which was no problem to park even though there was not much room for parking. They handled everything! Would stay again

Room Tip: Only 7 villas. We had Villa 6 which had a great outlook and more private than the others!

Stayed here on honeymoon for 5 nights. The room was fantastic, the pool was great (small, deep but nice). There are only a few rooms so no restaurant but they will bring breakfast to your balcony.
The staff were lovely and friendly.

It was a short-distance from the Ubud centre, with a free shuttle bus leaving at 10am every morning. You can arrange tours through the front desk (they helped us book a trip to Bali Zoo and to Poan's cooking class- both of which are highly recommended) and they will also arrange transportation for you. Beautiful villas in a hidden alleyway with views overlooking the forest. Breakfast is served on your private terrace overlooking the forests (amazing Nasi Goreng- but there is no restaurant on site and room service ends at around 11pm). Infinity pool is smaller but has amazing views and almost always empty. Room was spacious and the outdoor bathroom was magnificent. Great service, lovely staff. We took a walk to the Elephant caves (also saw the small waterfall on the way). The walk was around 15 minutes, but the elephant cave is a really small temple and we ended up taking a taxi back because it was too hot. Beautiful surroundings- secluded enough but still close to restaurants and shops in Ubud. Would definitely go back!

My partner and I stayed here for 5 nights and absolutely loved it. The manager came and picked us up from the airport which I thought was really nice. All the staff are extremely friendly and helpful, giving us tips on local things to see, like the cremation of a police officer from the area.

The villa is really lovely, clean and comfortable. The pool is awesome and the views are stunning. We took a walk most mornings along the tracks at the front of the villas through the rainforest which is really cool if you like that sort of thing.

We hired a scooter through the villa for Rp60,000 (probably more than if you found one on your own, but very convenient as when we had a problem with the brakes the staff sorted it out in no time) a day so it was very easy to get in and out of town and very fun too. The area the villa is in is quiet with very few tourists around, all the locals are extremely friendly too.

The breakfast and dinner are both excellent too (definitely try the indonesian breakfasts!)

We stayed for 5 nights and wanted to stay so much longer. We look forward to staying here again soon.

Room Tip: We only stayed in room 3 but it is awesome.

I don't normally write reviews but feel compelled to do so after reading a rather confusing review on this site. We stayed at villa 7 and only just returned from my trip. It was nothing short of magical. The place was very clean and comfortable and just perfect. The staff were absolutely lovely and couldn't do enough to attend to our every need. We stayed for 5 nights and it was the best holiday we've ever had. The view was stunning, like nothing we've ever seen. We felt completely relaxed and I felt like I'd left the rest of the world behind.

Only one word of warning, if you're not a person who enjoys being close to nature and immersing yourself in a beautiful rainforest then maybe book a resort in Seminyak or Nusa Dua instead.

I can't wait to be back!
