We stayed at the Komeneka Rasa Sayang and loved it. Right in a great area of Ubud, but once you’re inside it’s an absolute oasis. Tropical gardens in the interior are lush and lovely. Room excellent with a nice balcony/terrace. Breakfast was very good. Service outstanding. Our favorite place in Ubud city so far. The Komeneka Monkey Forest is also great. This one is bigger, more of a hotel feel. Both very much to our liking. Would def stay again.More

Absolutely outstanding service from an excellent staff. Very good massages in the spa and our romantic meal was excellent. Was lovely to meet Mansri the owner too. Very highly recommend for relaxing time. Pool area very good too.

All I can tell you is I'm incredibly fussy and this beautiful hotel was above and beyond, in every way. Location is exceptional also. Front desk staff and spa were amazing. We normally like to always try new hotels on each trip to Bali but next time we'll definitely be coming back here.

We really enjoyed our stay at Komaneka Rasa Sayang. The staff made us feel very welcome, the hotel was beautiful, and the pool was gorgeous (and a decent size for doing laps). The room was huge, luxuriously appointed, quiet, and very comfortable, although a little dark as we were on the ground floor. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Location was convenient - right in the heart of Ubud and a short walk to the Monkey Forest and some great cafes. Highly recommended!

The staff were the highlight of this property! Particularly Ibu Yuni who was so helpful in organising a lot for us. The reception lacks a little atmosphere when entering the property. I imagine in its hey day it would have been beautiful but now it just a dated large hotel, nothing overly special about it. The breakfast was so average we ate out after our first morning as it was cold and tasteless.The complimentary afternoon tea was a nice touch as was the complimentary daily bottles of water! The decking around the pool needs replacing as its very old and has gaps in spots - not safe! There seemed to be lots of kids running around the deck so I was surprised there were no accidents.The room whilst large also needs some updating with the fabrics /curtains and sofas....but a nice big room at 60m2 . We had a room on the top floor at the front of the hotel so hence didn't have an outlook and didn't add to the feeling of being in Ubud. Having Apple TV connection capability was great for my daughter and After a late night out to watch a movie or our Netflix account. The pool was small and not enough sun beds for the number of rooms/ people. I would suggest removing the charts behind the sun lounges and replacing them with another 12 sunbeds. I am not sure how you stop people putting their towels on the beds in the morning to keep them for the day even when they are not there... Would I stay there again if visiting Ubud? - Probably not.? It did seem most of the large 5 start properties were on the outskirts of Ubud so I would stay in the centre but just something a bit more updated. Depends what's important to you! It was around $240 AUD a night so I expected a little more. The staff however were very attentive and always welcomed guests back home when arriving back at the hotel. We had breakfast across the road at Watercress which was a marked improvement.

What a wonderful stay! After a long debate as where we should stay I am so glad we stayed at Komaneka monkey forest. Right in the heart of town easy walking distance to everything.
Upon arrival we were treated like family with our 2 young children being fussed upon and played with. I know Balinese people are renowned for hospitality but the staff here are exceptional and friendly. Everyday the staff went out of their way to help Iris (20 months) and Lila (5) feed the fish. My daughters and partner are gluten intolerant and were provided a Custom menu in room and staff were always aware when we went breakfast. ( the menu was different everyday)
The complimentary afternoon tea with Indonesian snacks was lovely.
Yes the pool is a little small and if you were after 5 plus star rooms you may be a little disappointed but to be honest after staying in a huge 5 star resort in Seminyak I would prefer the Komaneka.
Also worth noting you can go to any of the other Komaneka hotels and ubud and use the facilities .
