I've eaten here with family, friends and by myself several times both for lunch and dinner and loved it each time. The cafe is located next to the better known Three Monkeys cafe and shares a similar view of the same rice fields. I like this view better than the view from Three Monkeys because you are looking straight out into the rice fields for a great distance rather than across at the other cafe from Three Monkeys. Not only that, the food is just as good, if not better, and only about a third of the price. There are lots of vegetarian options. For example, you can get a vege and tofu curry with rice and salad for 18,000 rupiah (about US$2). The juices are good too. They also have sangria, as well as wine and beer. Good service but nothing fancy. It's hard to tell how nice this place is from the street because you have to go through the shop at the front but it's worth wandering back for the atmosphere and cheap and tasty food.

We got drawn in by the setting and the fact that it was by a rice field. The food however was a total disappointment. We ordered traditonal indo food like gado gado and ayam panggang. The gado gado was fine tho the peanut sauce was a bit heavy. The ayam panggang was not at all how it should be - which is a chicken thigh/leg grilled in indo spices n sambal. Instead lying on the plate was a white piece of chicken fillet with some cut chilli and onions on top. Very disappointing considering this should be a basic dish in Indonesia.
Definitely wont be eating here again!

We ate twice at Rai Pasti warung during our visit to Ubud and both times the service was excellent - prompt and attentive. I had 2 types of chicken soup - soto ayam and chicken balls soup, both were well prepared and flavorful without being too spicy. The only improvement would be to have less noodles and more broth in the chicken balls soup. My husband did not care for his spicy banana soup, and would not have ordered it again. We've also had chicken sate and suckling pig there. Sate had nice sauce but was on the dry side, and not as good as at some other places. Suckling pig was nice but the portion was too small and not nearly as good as at Ibu Oka where they deliver it from. The view over the rice fields was quite nice, but the place could use couple fans for when it's not raining and hot.

This place was an awesome find. We're just disappointed we found it on our last night here. The food is fantastic. They have wonderful range. AND around the cheapest on Monkey Forest Rd. Plus you sit out the back, away fr traffic and noise, in the peaceful surrounds of the rice paddies. We had walked passed for 6 days because both warungs on either side were fairly expensive in comparison, so we hadn't looked in the middle. It is about 30m past the Ibunda Bungalows / Barong Resort & Spa. Has free WiFi and is a must-do for at least one meal. Much better than the overpriced, over-rated Cinta just up the road. We were a tad disappointed with the Cinta's value for money aspect. 100,000Rp for 5 ribs that are 40,000Rp anywhere else. Not 5 racks. 5 single rib bones.
