Description: OOPS Restaurant and Bar is a stunning combination of classic Balinese ambiance, exceptional service, and fresh innovative cuisine. Conveniently located just across from the Ubud Market, this is the ideal spot for a light lunch, afternoon cocktails, or an amazing full course dinner. The space is elegant, yet relaxed and inviting, with classic touches like high ceilings, rich wood and crimson tones, a long wooden bar, and large, open veranda in the front for people-watching along Ubud’s main road. Walking through to the back, the restaurant opens out onto a breezy garden with soft couches and chairs, lush greenery, and the sounds of the river bubbling below. We pride ourselves on having not only a gorgeous setting, but also providing our guests with the highest quality of service, and the freshest ingredients used in our chef’s excellent Indonesian and Western gourmet creations.

Traveling with 4 adults and 3 kids we decided to try Oops one evening as it's central location to the town (across from the market) suited us as we were over walking for the day....

Pro's. The dinner menu - great selection of local and western food. The restaurant is at the back and is lovely in the evening... With a relaxing atmosphere. Meals were served in a timely manner - cocktails average...

Cons. Decided to grab a quick lunch time bite the following day (at the front of the restaurant which faces the street) and the meals were awful - we actually ended up walking away. Service was incredibly slow although the restaurant was far from full.... Which meant the hot meals were served cold and required for us to send back.... After a quick nuke in the microwave they were brought back..... : p In conclusion - lunch is basic and hit and miss. Might have better luck in the evening......

I didnt eat at Oops, so cant really comment on the restaurant. I have been there several times for a drink in the early evening (on the bar facing the main road), and its great for a cheap beer or a "happy hour" (buy one, get two) mojito, and for people watching (Oops is just opposite the central market).

Next door in Oops Spa, the foot reflexology massages are very good and cheap. And you might want to try "Dr. Fish", a bit strange at first but still good.

Love this place, it is right in the middle of Ubud across from the market.Great place to sit and watch the locals going about their daily life.It has a range of quality food including meals and some great snacks including their nachos, rice paper rolls and duck spring rolls. They have a good wine list and happy hours deals for a few hours each night on a range of mojhitos. There is also a lovely area out the back. Service is good and friendly staff. The manager is happy to share hints about Bali and share information about his village and local life. Can't wait to get back there.

We enjoyed a nice meal here for lunch, service was great, and the food was tasty. Very nice watermelon juice. Cool too, on a hot day.

Average food for ubud but at quite an expensive price. Good menu although the two meals we chose we sold out! Argued with the chef for a fry up and eventually got one at 12pm. Was charged extras at any possible chance - toast, bacon etc. Happy hour is good though it's actually buy one get on free
