“4 days is long enough to lose your heart to VTI forever!”
Reviewed January 16, 2015 for a stay in January 2015

Iluh, Komang, Kadek and Gede are the villa staff here and do a magnificent job of meeting (and anticipating) guests needs. The villa is clean and spacious, the gardens magnificent and although the drive into Ubud is over 15 minutes it is so interesting you won't notice. We came across a ceremonial procession in one of the villages when returning from dinner one night.

The bedrooms are air conditioned and there are plenty of fans for air movement everywhere. The pool is unfenced for those with little ones.

You feel part of the real Bali here - take a walk in the paddies in the evening and see the fireflies!

Such a spacious, clean inviting place, outside ubud on the rice paddies. The staff is simply superb. They really take care of you. My kids loved the pool. We loved coming home to candles lit by Gede to welcome us.

“charming,”
Reviewed October 7, 2014 for a stay in July 2014

we have stayed in this big Villa at the end of july, with my wife and our two kids 6 and 11.
everything has been perfect.
The villa can easily fit another family of 4. we only used the bottom level...
The food is just beautiful, theres is no need to search another place, it is cheaper and better. we had Made driver ready to take us very safely whereever we needed and enjoyed part of Bali thanks to him. Iluh, the manager has always been helpful, and thanks to her we had the opportunity to experience the tirta empul temple as a local and it will always stay in our spirit.

The only little thing we may point out, just to say something, would be that tthe villa is located near a road that could be a little bit noisy, but i have been jogging along it many times. But to be honest it hasnot been a,problem to us. We had the rest we wanted to have.

If we planned another trip to Bali, we certainly return ther to explore other parts of the island we didnot see as it is central.

“Piece of heaven on earth”
Reviewed August 8, 2014 for a stay in July 2014

This was my first time booking an accommodation on line directly. The owner made it very simple and was very good at answering all my questions. I found it daunting sending the deposit but this was unfounded as the owner sent me a receipt once the money was deposited. Everything was very transparent from the payment to the photo's on the internet. This holiday will be one to remember. From entering through the beautifully carved wooden doors into the immaculately kept garden, we knew we would love this place. The kids enjoyed the infinity pool for hours on end. We also explored the villa gardens and temple. I can not say enough about the staff, we came together as complete strangers and left as friends. Our ferry was two hours late and I had no way to communicate with anyone from the villa but I should not have worried because when we did finally arrive our driver, Made, was there waiting for us. Made is a gentle soul who helped use to understand the ways of the Balinese people. He was a very safe driver and was able to answer all our questions about the things we would see out of the car window. He also included us in a cremation ceremony from his village, once in a life time experience for us. Upon arrival to the villa, Gede, the security person greeted us at the front doors. Gede always had a big wonderful smile and always looked so happy. He also looks after the villa gardens. The gardens are a quit serene place to read or play in the pool. What can I say about the ever efficient , Iluh. Iluh is the manager of the villa, she is very professional but friendly at the same time. We enjoyed her sense of humour and she can make anything happen. We would mention something we would like to do and before we knew it, it would be arranged. We will miss Iluh almost as much as we already miss the most delicious coconut pancakes made and served up by Kadek and Ayu. We also enjoyed two evening meals that these ladies made, typical Balinese meals, best in Bali! The villa itself is spacious ,very we'll maintained and super clean. The photo's on the internet are factual. This was an exceptional find and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a little piece of heaven on earth in Bali.

The staff took wonderful care of us. My mother was recovering from a long illness. The staff catered to her needs. We opted to have dinner 2 times at the house. The ladies are the fabulous cooks. The house was clean and very comfortable.

the pools and grounds were immaculate.

“I want to be back there right now!”
Reviewed February 5, 2014 for a stay in July 2013

Villa Tirta Indah - what a destination. The pictures don't do it justice. The pool is awesome, the Villa extremely clean and well laid out and how cool to have your own Temple. But the Staff were the highlight of the trip. Iluh -the Manageress and Putu the cook/cleaner (can't remember the second lady's name) were the sweetest most generous foreigners I have ever met. They made us feel like part of the family and took us into their hearts as we did them. The food was beyond amazing. I particularly enjoyed the Coconut-Banana Pancakes I had for breakfast, and their local rice dishes were better than most restaurants could make. Nothing was too much trouble, nothing was a problem, they were discreet, respectful and an absolute delight to talk with. Our driver Madi-arya (sp?) was so great, he went above and beyond to look after us and show us all the great places to go and was great also at helping us learn to the local language. We fell in love with pisang kecil (sp?) baby bananas deep fried that can be found in street side vendors - YUM. (and only bout $2 for a dozen)!! The Villa itself is set right beside rice paddies in the country about 15 mins out of Ubud. A short walk down the lane and you get the opportunity to see the locals tending their crops and going about their daily village life. Lots of photo spots! We were out and about most days either around the local area, Ubud or further afield - we went to Kuta one day and after only 2 hours were glad to escape back to the tranquility of our home away from home. The beds are massive and relatively comfortable, I'm a fussy bed person as have arthritis and like a soft bed - but I found it OK. I can't wait to visit there again or the other beautiful looking Villa D'Abing they also run. Thank you Iluh, Madi & Putu for making this a memorable holiday. :-)

“Fantastic”
Reviewed October 13, 2013 for a stay in October 2013

We spent four nights in this beautiful villa. The villa is very clean and spacious, the rooms large and well furnished. The bathrooms are excellent. This villa is located about 20 minutes from Ubud in the rice paddy field area. The villa is on the main road so is a little noisy during the day however very peaceful at night. The infinity pool is fantastic, you can actually swim in this pool. Iluh, Putu and Kadek along with the maintenance/security man made us very welcome indeed. Putu and Kadek cooked us breakfast each morning and one night we stayed in for dinner whereby they cooked us a four course Balinese meal. The food was beautiful. Komang our driver was extremely helpful and friendly. The staff are extremely friendly and will go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and want for nothing. We would strongly recommend you try this villa.
