We accidentally walked in since it started raining, and ordered the sampler. It was excellent and nice to try several types of beans. A must visit for a true coffee lover!
Roasting is done on site.

I adore coffee. From camping cowboy coffee, to run-of-the-mill mud at the flagship Starbucks in Seattle; the green cardamon spiced brew of the bedouins, or turkish stuff so thick your spoon stands up in it... coffee is the love of my life. So after reading wonderful things about this place, I made the trip out here during our week long vacation to Bali. Sadly, the trip itself was the highlight of the visit; after an hours drive, we arrived to a packed house; I ordered an iced coffee, and was handed a soggy cup with a couple of icecubes rattling around in it. When I asked for sugar, I was told there wasn't any.

The area was nice, though!

argh.... that sounds as horrible as you describe. not sure what went wrong. we offer a glass jar for takeaway coffee if you pay a deposit which will be returned if you bring it back. this is our best solution for takeaway drinks as its environmentally friendly and the best vessel for carrying drinks around town/ in a bag/ on your scooter... as an alternative, we do have the industry standard paper cups to-go. maybe the cup was damaged... not sure why it was soggy.... and such a shame as our ice-latte or ice-single origin black coffee or even our cold-drip (12 hours) ice coffee are some of the most popular drinks we sell.... not sure what to say except hope you can come back and can be blown away with great our drinks... (as an aside, I have to ask, if you treked here and are such a coffee lover, why did you want a take-away???? just take a seat and enjoy the drink ;-)

These people are very serious about their coffee - and rightly so. It was delicious and served with a glass of water, which is always appreciated in Bali, and a delicious little green Indonesian sweet morsel which was filled with a yummy syrup.

to be served a glass/ carafe of water when you arrive and a glass with every drink - we think its a simple gesture that we would like when we visit somewhere, glad you like it too.

Very pleasant place off the main road but central. Don't miss a cup real good coffee served in a special way and the Indonesian Dessert : rice crêpes with coconut and palm sugar : UN DELICE !
I do regret that many guests hide behind their laptop screens... I'm an old traveller who loved the days where everyone talked easily to everyone, I'd prefer direct communication to wire less

thanks for the good review. and liking our use of the Balinese 'ja-jan' for a complimentary snack with your coffee. the wifi/ internet debate; hmmmm people flock to Seniman due to our very fast broadband speeds, but the flipside is that it can get a bit laptop 'heavy'... mmmm maybe we should have an internet free (as in no internet. ha) for an hour a day....?? the debate continues.... :-)

Very cool and very into 'Coffee Experience' We had cappucinos and they were nice. Love the special extra touch of some kind of green crepe thing to savour too. Tasting coffee plate looked fun to try but I am not a black coffee drinker.
