This is one of my favourite places to eat in Ubud because it's great value for money and totally wholesome. There are lots of 'healthy' and 'vegan/vegetarian' places to eat in Ubud but this one seems the most honest (they are not over-stating their concept of being healthy, organic, etc. like other restaurants in the area). It's has proper Indonesian-style of doing things (other than the fact that it's almost entirely vegan - and healthy!) and the food is mostly pre-prepared and you chose it from a display cabinet. The down-side to this is that it's not generally warm but it is the most honestly wholesome with a reasonable price-tag that you can find in this town. The staff are better than some of the more expensive restaurants in town, the place has a nice atmosphere and the food is genuinely good (simple, no fuss food, served in banana leaves dishes but wholesome and well-thought out). It's good that you can have a whole range of different things in one meal and you can also order some freshly-prepared food off the menu if you prefer. All the food that we have had here is good. We have been back here each year we come here and it's worth finding it out every time!
