Went on Bali Baik (bike) tour in Ubud, was a terrific day. We were picked up in an nice airconditioned van, from our hotel in Kuta, then transported to breakfast in an all you can eat resturant in Ubud, opposite the volcano. After breakfast we were taken to a coffee plantation, sampling coffee, tea's and some fruit, also give the information regarding the Alure (coffee eating animal) and the plantation, extremley interesting. The once again into the van and transported about 5 minutes away to waiting bikes, helmets. We then all took of for our ride, started of down hill, was pretty easy most of the time, some hills and it was very hot. I managed the ride about 20ks' with lots of water stops and a few times got of and walked. A few people found it to hard going and ended up in the van, no biggy, was a extremley hot day and some people were in the older age group, After riding thru, villages, plantation, rice plantation walk, we arrived under an old bridge, were our riding experience ended, We were given heaps of water and everybody hopped into the van again, For a 20minute ride the the family compound for a wonderful lunch, prepared in the family kitchen by the owner of the riding tours wife, Very nice food, and lots to drink. We were then given a tour of their home and compound, all interesting.
We were then transported back to Kuta to our hotel, was a full day and worth every cents, You get to see so much more on a bike than a car, and the people in the villages are so friendly all the kids say hello and give you hi-fives. We took lollies to hand out to the kids they went crazy,. A great day

After the pick up at our hotel, we drove up to north of Bali towards the vulcano. We had a really nice view and Bob could tell us all interesting stuff about Bali and balinese people. Then we started the tour by bike. This was really cool, çause you see places and villages which are not so touristic. We had a nice time. It was all very easy going. After the tour we had a lunch at his house where his wife had made us an amazing lunch. We all felt very welcome. If you're in Bali and like to do a tour like by bike then this one you should choose.

We have been travelling to Bali for the last 20 years and this trip reminds us of our early visits when Ubud was less commercialised. We cycled with Made our guide through beautiful unspoilt countryside with amazing views of the real Bali- rice fields, farmers working in the fields, people washing their clothes in the river and villages with happy children playing. This trip is a MUST-the memories will last a lifetime.Thank you Made.

The bike ride we did started with a visit to a coffee farm and we tried loads of different types and were given pancakes for breakfast we then drove up to a fantastic view of the volcanoes and then it was mostly downhill through villages which was very relaxing! We did a small part going off road which was fun but tiring! We stopped off at rice fields on the way and learnt about farming techniques and could have a go harvesting it ourselves! Our guide was very friendly and at the end we went to his family's house where we had the best food we experienced while in Bali and learnt a lot about the Balinese culture. Definitely would reccommend!

My sister and I went on the Bali on bike tour with dewa bob and had a great day. The bike ride was nice and easy for us mainly down hill and dewa bob was a passionate kind tour guide showing us and telling us about local customs, farming, and sights. To top off the trip we had lunch at dewas house cooked by his wife which was huge and delicious, the best food we had in Bali. We felt very welcomed. Would recommend this trip for anyone and everyone.
