“Best day out”
Reviewed January 21, 2013

Just returned home from a day trip with bali go bike, was such a perfect day. We had a big family of 8 ranging from experienced riders to beginners & we all loved it. The staff are amazingly friendly. the entire day is very well organised with breakfast overlooking a volcano, a bike ride through villages & beautiful rice fields followed by a home cooked meal which was possibly the best food I've had while I'm bali. Definitely recommended to anyone

“Cycling Tour in Bali”
Reviewed January 19, 2013

We found this tour to be both very interesting and great value for money. We were picked up from our hotel near Ubud and driven up to the volcano, where we were served breakfast. We then went to a coffee plantation, where we were provided with free samples of coffee, tea, hot cocoa, tropical fruit, and chocolate (and we took up the option to puchase a cup of lewak coffee and some other gifts to take home). We then started biking through country roads and villages around Ubud with our charming guide Gede, seeing a side of Bali that we wouldn't have discovered on our own. The tour ended with lunch at Ketut's Balinese home, where we were served a delicious home-cooked, Indonesian lunch and encouraged to join Ketut, Gede, and our driver in the music room to play a few songs on their Balinese instruments (kinda funny and something we would never otherwise do!). We also recommend checking prices yourself and then negotiating with tour companies. We were able to customize a package including the bike tour, zoo entry, and transport at cheaper rates than advertized online.

“Enjoy the ride, but watch your money”
Reviewed January 2, 2013

9 of us visited baligobike in December 2012. The ride was great. Easy for those who aren't fit enough to peddle. The scenery was beautiful, the route great and the guides were very informative and friendly. The meal afterwards was plentiful and tasted great. The only thing that left a sour taste in our mouth was my daughter having $160 stolen out of her backpack whist she left it on the bus. The guides supply you with a lockable cabinet to put valuables in- and now I know why. As the cabinet was not big enough for my daughters backpack and some others travellers expensive cameras- she opted to hide her pack under the seat- knowing that the only person that had access to the bus was the driver. Unfortunately, being trusting didn't pay- well not her at least. And contacting the organisers didn't pay either- as they have not had the decency to respond to our requests to have this matter looked into. So my advice is, enjoy the ride- but don't be taken for a ride by others. It left a bitter taste in the mouth of us all.

“Bali Go Bike Tour - Def Recommendation!!”
Reviewed December 23, 2012

Had an absolutely wonderful day! First of all excellent tour guide named Gedde - very friendly and easy to get along with, which always makes things easier!
Nice and steady bike ride a couple of hills one challenging but very fun that it makes you want to try it again!
Beautiful scenery and beautiful people, LOVED the coffee stop before hand as we were able to try some amazing coffee and also purchase - note to tourist make sure you have $$ if you are wanting to purchase anything or you can pay when the driver takes you back to your motel which is excellent!
The meal at the end of it all was soooo yummy and worth the long ride but all in all it was a great day with NO negatives :-)
