We stayed here for 3 nights and had a wonderful experience. The villa was large and equiped with everything we needed, the private pool was great for the privacy. The food was great and well priced, the staff were so helpful and friendly. the views as you eat your meal are so breath taking and relaxing or they bring it into your room on request.
Wonderful and would recommend for any one wanting a romantic, relaxing getaway.

We stayed for 3 nights at Bali Rich Villa's in Ubud and were really pleased with the lovely, well equipped 1 bedroom villa. The bedroom and bathroom were luxurious and well appointed. Everything very well thought out. The property is charming, lovely manicured gardens, with a wonderful view from the restaurant.

The food was delicious (and we love fine dining), so we ate in the restaurant every night.

The staff were lovely, efficient and welcoming.
We would definitely recommend this hotel.
I also had one of the best massages I have ever had at the spa.

Thank you Nyoman, the GM for a wonderful stay.

Room Tip: The two bedroom villa's have a bigger plunge pool.

we stayed here for 4 nights. staff were friendly but overall this acvomodation isnt worth cost.

villas look lovely but cleaning isnt up to standard of other bali resorts. ive been to bali numerous times and never been so disappointed really. like others said plunge pool is very small. bathroom looks nice but stones around shower not practicle for cleaning at all. our villa smelt of sewrage our whole stay!! despite numerous complaints staff only cleaned n put oil burners in bathroom. completely ruined our stay! we were not given any refund just told villas fully booked and we couldnt be moved.

also free shuttle is just frustrating.we wasted an hour waiting in ubud and driver showed up 45 minutes late with no apology at all. just excuses about driving other guests somewhere.
i cannot reccomend these villas.

We stayed at a 2 bedroom villa for 2 nights at Bali Rich recently. The staff was friendly and would greet us with a smile every time they sees us. The bedroom and bathroom are really spacious and nice. We have no problems with mozzies because we lighted the mosquito coil that was provided and kept the door to our bedroom closed.

Although the property is supposed to be fairly new, it is not well maintained, the kitchen and pool deck in our villa already show signs of old age. The paint on the kitchen cabinet looks old and the inside is rather dusty. The kitchen tap is not fixed to the sink properly so we had to hold on to the tap every time we need to turn it on to prevent it from moving. A few of the planks on the private pool deck are loose and when you stepped on them, they shifted so I have to stop the children from going to the pool deck. The private pool was really tiny. It is more suitable for soaking than swimming. For breakfast, I would suggest to go for Mee goreng and cornflakes. They just could not get the eggs items correct. It is nice to have breakfast at the restaurant rather than the room as the restaurant has a really good view. However, don't bother having lunch or dinner at the restaurant as there are much better food in Ubud town. We had dinner there one night and there were only two other tables occupied but it took half an hour before the first dish was served. It seems they are understaffed in the kitchen.

The hotel is about 15 mins from Ubud town. We have no issue with this as we have already pre-booked our driver and need not use the hotel shuttle which operates every two hours.

I don't think I will stay at this villa again if I can find something better at around the same price.

Room Tip: Our room 201 was next to the reception area and pretty quiet.

We stayed here not because we wanted to but because the other hotel we booked had double booked us. We were taken here as an alternative because we had no where else to stay. Ubud was full due to high season occupancy. The hotel was fairly new and modern but the owners seemed to not know anything about running a hotel. There were no mosquito nets on the windows so mozzies came inside to eat us. Also the net over the bed only reached to half mast, just at the level of the bed so the mozzies came under it. The shower had nice white Japanese style stones on the floor but no-body bothered to clean the stones so there was hair and muck under it. There was even a half used piece of soap posing as a stone amongst them. i guess housekeeping missed that one. And the floor was not cleaned properly. they need to mop it EVERYDAY! The cabana chairs next to the little plunge pool (more like a bath) were dirty so we didn't lie on them. The hotel was in a local neighbourhood about 20 minutes out of Ubud so not very convenient. And the surrounding neighbours were chanting and singing at night. After that the dogs started to howl and we were scared to go outside at night. We could not wait to move to another hotel. I haven't stayed in all the hotels in Ubud but from what we know this was the worst hotel. If the owners put a little thought into it the hotel would be pleasant and comfortable.

Room Tip: Try to get one away from the neighbours.

Our stay here was very pleasant overall. The surroundings were wonderful and we had breakfast everyday at the restaurant because the view was so awesome. The villas are well appointed and toiletries such as dental kits, toothpaste, shower cap, etc are provided (this was surprising). They even provided bath salts which was cool and when we requested for more bottled water, the service staff obliged immediately. The bedroom and bathroom are very spacious and clean.

The massage at the villa was ok, we had it free as part of our package which was a nice touch. But I preferred to go to external spas for the same massage quality at half the price charged by the villa spa.

The main draw of this place would be its peace and quiet and lovely surroundings but this place is not for those who want to be near Ubud centre as it takes almost 15 mins to reach there, and more if there is a traffic jam. Ubud has become very crowded which is really sad and traffic conditions are quite horrible. Special mention too about the service staff, they are awesome - friendly, obliging, very quick to respond to requests and just really warm and approachable.

I would have given this villa full stars if not for these - 1. The breakfast policy. Breakfast was adequate but would have been great if we could order one or two items for sharing without extra charge like most villas we've stayed at in Ubud. You can only order ONE item on the menu per person and children above 5 yrs old have to pay for breakfast even though they don't eat very much. Perhaps we were spoilt by the other villas we've stayed at who do not charge for extra beds or breakfast for young children below 6 or 8 years old.

2. The shuttle service to Ubud was nice but the return trip timings do not work for families with young children who have slightly earlier bedtimes before 10 pm. You would need to pay USD$7 per car per trip for shuttle services outside their prescribed timing. Not too expensive but again, we've been spoilt by other villas who provided on-demand shuttle services.

3. The plunge pools in the villas are really tiny, not for swimming. Only for dipping. I did expect a bigger pool for the price I paid for these villas. There was a pool for children and a slightly bigger pool for adults near the restaurant but the point of having pool villas is to be able to swim in them, no?

We stayed at Bali Rich after being in Seminyak. Talk about chalk and cheese. Bali Rich was so quiet and relaxing. For the first 2 days we didn't see anyone else and it felt like we were the only people there.
Service was excellent. The staff were more than happy to please. The spa was lovely. I indulged in 2 treatments with them and was given discounted prices both times.
The villa was lovely. The bathroom was huge with a lovely big bath and shower. The private plunge pool was also great.
As the villas are in a village outside of Ubud, Bali Rich offer a free shuttle bus into town which we found very handy.
The breakfasts were lovely. We had dinner in the restaurant 1 night. It was delicious.
The only complaint we had was the roosters crowing all morning...we had a lovely chicken dinner that day...hehehe.
If you are looking for a quiet and relaxing place to stay, then book here.
