Description: bridges is a multitude of levels offering elegant yet unpretentious environments. From the street level all the way to the river, bridges has what it takes to properly welcome guests to Ubud. It is a place "where worlds meet" serving delicacies from Asia and the West. It is also home to DIVINE, Ubud's most extensive wine list with over 350 labels and more than 10 grape varieties. Located below the Riverside dining room is DIVINE wine and cocktail bar, a great place to have a great time with an amazing wine list and great cocktails. It comes with its own kitchen providing gastro delights. To enjoy life's little pleasures, bridges also offers a bistro terrace, coffee and tea parlour and a cocktail lounge.

This was an amazing experience. The food was fabulous (fois gras and duck, who wouldn't be happy), wine was wonderful (California Chardonnay would make anyone happy and at an affordable price), service was impeccable. It is a bit on the pricier side, but well worth it. Make reservations for the lower deck of the restaurant as it is by far the place to sit and experience the river side dining.

“Divine dining”

What a beautiful lunch... great service, incredibly accommodating (our driver got 'lost' on the way to Ubud), and the menu - wow. The combinations, the flavours, the creativeness, quailty ingredients. Incredibly enjoyable experience and highly recommended as a highlight of any trip to Bali.

“Treat your taste buds in Bali”
Reviewed October 5, 2013 via mobile

WOW! An absolutely amazing dining experience that begins from the moment enter and receive a very welcoming reception, onto the coordinated delivery of exceptionally well presented plates onto the table to happily arranging for your driver to collect you and take you home.

The menu consists of a fabulous variety of entrees, mains and deserts (including a superb selection of cheeses....something you rarely encounter) that caused considerable debate amongst an adult family of four. In the end, the duck, the lamb and the apple/blue cheese tortelini left everyone extremely satisfied.

No more said, as words alone don't give this restaurant justice........

If you truly consider yourself a Foodie, you won't hesitate to place the Bridges on the top of your must do list when in Bali. Excellent value for money and a superb culinary journey.

Bridges gets it just right and was by far and away the best meal we had on our Asia trip, not just in Bali but anywhere. Service and ambience were perfect and we literally did not want our meal to end. Yummm..
