We had a good day cycling down through the Balinese countryside stopping at a few places along the way for information about different areas.
The guides were helpful and friendly.
The only negative was the breakfast that was provided wasn’t that great so fill up on food first before you go

Great way to see the Balinese countryside- it’s all downhill apart from two short (but quite steep) hills. Tour guide Stone and his apprentice from the local tourism school where really friendly and knowledgeable- great day in beautiful scenery.

My wife and I had a great trip, firstly stopping at the Tegallaling rice terrace and then a coffee plantation where we given a brief tour and then experienced tasting all the coffees produced. There was no hard sell just a relaxing experience. In our comfortable mini bus we all travelled to Mount Batur where we was greeted by Yankun and Lukman, our cycling guides. We had breakfast and drinks on a mountain ridge before setting off on the downhill cycle ride. We stopped at local villages along the way to given interesting facts, Lukman aged only 16 years old was on work experience and bravely practiced his English speaking in front of the whole group, there was about 13 of us. Yankun then gave us really interesting facts about the rice process from planting to harvest at a local rice plant. On arrival back at base we had a tasty buffet dinner and barong dance by the local children. Matur Suksama and definitely a trip worth doing for fun and culture of Balinese way of life.

Angela Kernihan and Marilyn Hayward went on the bike ride through rice paddies and small villages. We had a beautiful day. We only wanted to do a half day and an enjoyable not too taxing ride (I am 62). It was perfect. Our guide Wayan and our driver were lovely and really looked after us. Lunch at Ketut's house was delightful and we were entertained by his children and nieces doing Balinese dancing. We learned much about the Balinese culture from Ketut and Wayan. A beautiful day
Thank you.

Well organised, the guide was lovely and great lunch afterwards. So nice to get out of time and ride through some small towns.
Many thanks!

Perfect slacker downhill cycling trip where brakes are used more than pedals. 90% downhill with 2 mega steep uphill where it is wiser to push the bike instead.

Booked the downhill cycling trip at one of the roadside stall at ubud market for IDR 300,000 / pax (opening special price. LOL). A/C van pickup from hotel, stopping by a rice paddy field and a coffee plantation before arriving at the breakfast place with Mt Batur view. Breakfast isn't that fantastic as the banana pancake is a tad too dry.

While having breakfast, our awesome guide, Stone, gave us a thorough briefing before starting the tour. Stone is a funny guy who makes an effort to memorize the names of each and every one of us. He speaks excellent English and shared knowledge about Bali in great details and clarity. Stone also takes really good care of the group and we were really fortunate to have him as our guide. Will definitely request for him to lead us the next time we are back!

Ended the tour with a buffet style lunch at the company with a dance performance by a group of kids.

It would be better if the breakfast can be improved on. Nonetheless, was really pleased with the tour and the greatest credit goes to our guide, Stone!

Big thumbs up to the team at bali breeze tours who arranged a cycling tour! Did the trip with a friend and we had a great time doing a 3hr downhill cycling tour with Stone our guide who is constantly attentive to the safety and needs of the group. Stone is fluent in English and shares as much knowledge as possible to give guests a deeper insight into the local balinese culture. Enjoyed the time with stone and his company throughout the entire trip which is filled with fun! :)

We booked this tour from a tour booth on the street for 350,000 rupiahs per person. The advertised price was for 400,000.

The day started with a brief stop at the rice paddy fields which is always a bucket list item for tourists. Following this we went to a coffee plantation. The guide here was so lovely and we got to try out around 20 teas and coffees which was awesome - great addition to the tour.

After this you stop for pancakes / omelette at a local restaurant which has spectacular views of the volcanoes. The pancakes were not amazing but were an added bonus!

Then it was time for riding! We enjoyed this bike tour. While it was 90% all down hill it was great to be outside and amongst the locals. The tour is well organised and there is a van that follows the bikes.

The highlight of the tour for me was the tour guide - Stone. His insight into Balinese lifestyle, religion, schooling and rice fields were very insightful. He was very professional yet funny, fantastic guide.

The tour ended with lunch at family’s home and entertainment. It was nice to see what the local home is like.

This is a local family business and while it was mostly down hill we did enjoy this day.

With 'breakfast included' you expect to have breakfast at the start of the day. Before that we stopped twice; one time at the ricefields and after that at a place where they make Luwak coffee (made from the poo of civet cats). We left the tour quickly after we saw how the animals that produce the coffee beans were kept; nothing less than animal abuse.
After 2-2,5 hours we had 'breakfast'. Great view, but don't be fooled; this is not breakfast (just a pancake that had no flavour to it) and coffee that was disgusting. Then the real tour started. The bikes were old and worn down. The gears didn't work properly and the saddles were loose. The tour wasn't a mountainbike tour at all, as it was nothing more than rolling down the hill while constantly braking. We drove on asphalt during the whole tour. We didn't go offroad at all! Something you'd expect when mountainbiking.

Something positive? Yes, the view of the ricefields was nice, and the guide talked about the Balinese way of living. The lunch was allright.

Has it all - spectacular sights - has it all - informative, challenging in a safe way, healthy, learn so much culturally, food very tasty and authentic Bali. The staff incredibly intuitive to individual needs. Met people from all corners of the world today - a truely globally friendly experience and learned a bit about myself too! Go for it!
