This walking tour completed perfectly my visit to Bali : on foot you see different things, Wayan explains very well how traditions and culture are all integrated into modern Bali life. He takes you to places you woud not normally see.

He is friendly, knowledgeable, adapts to the visitors..... not to be missed when you are in Bali !

This is a highly recommended tour to do in Ubud. Wayan is a wonderful guide who has a huge amount of knowledge about the local area and is fun to walk with. He will take you on an off road tour through the paddy fields and villages. Plenty of chat explaining local culture and traditions. At the end of our walk we had a lovely lunch in a local restaurant. Make sure to wear comfortable walking shoes and let Wayan take care of the rest! Don't leave Bali without doing this walking tour with Bali, Off Course.

We've had a nice trip with Wayan through the rice paddy's and small villages. Also the blessings by a Brahman priest is something you'll never forget. If we come to Bali again we will book it again.

Our walking tour with Wayan was one of the highlights of our Bali trip. We really felt like we were going "behind the scenes" as we walked through rice fields, occasionally talking to the farmers and Wayan explaining their irrigation systems up close and personal. We went "off road" to a waterfall we never would've found on our own and we visited the temple in Wayan's village. One highlight was actually going inside a home compound and learning how the Balinese really live and being exposed to their strong sense of family and community. It was so nice to be able to ask Wayan all of the questions we'd had about Bali since our arrival--and he knows all the answers. We highly recommend Bali, Ubud, and Wayan's Bali Off-Course walking tours.

This walking tour through some villages of Ubud and surrounds is quite simple. Not too strenuous, but wear some sturdy shoes and be ready for a bit of mud. Your guide, who owns and runs this small business, is friendly and keen for you to learn more about his culture. This walking tour is good, since (unlike the bicycle tours) you are able to ask questions much more easily.
