Ordered a bike tour in Mandarin only to find out no one there speaks Mandarin. My chinese traveling companion was cool with that. However, the day didn’t get much better. The stops to visit places were way too long and the actual riding time felt as fast as the Tour de France. There were some amazing sights to see along rice paddies and small towns but we hurtled theough very fast. Tour ended at a posh place where lunch was included with drinks extra. Again a long time there when riding a bit more and slower would have been more what was expected. There are many tours in Ubud for biking, I don’t recommend this company.

Don’t even think about booking with anybody else! Absolute quality from pick up to drop off. We took our 9 year old son and he absolutely loved it, especially jumping out and floating down the river. Walk down to river has lots of steps but Mason have best hand rail on the river - don’t underestimate it’s importance....other company’s made of bamboo or non-existent. Guides were fantastic and despite a few scary moments, got us all out unscathed with smiles all round. Hot showers and meal at the end were perfect finish.

This tour operator is very professional and extremely friendly. The facilities are excellent including clean change rooms with hot showers. Our guide on the water was great and very funny. The river has breathtaking views with lots of wonderful waterfalls.

There are a lot of boats on the water and a highlight for us was the water fights we had with the other boats and the surprise drenching we got under the big waterfall.
It was an awesome day finished off with a great buffet lunch.

Access to the river is via a safe fully paved path way with and lots of steps, easy going down, bit harder going up but just take your time and it’s fine.

Great day totally recommend. Very professional staff. Lots of stairs down to the river, if you aren’t reasonably fit, don’t do it as the stairs going up had even our instructor breathless and he had to stop (he did smoke though). The rafting itself was two hours. This company, from what I am told, has been running the longest and has the longest rafting tour. Our package included a buffet lunch at the end which cost $50 pp Aus and was very good. They also provide showers and towels. Take a spare set of clothes to change into after the rafting.

This sanctuary was amazing. Yanie and Nigel have done a remarkable job incorporating the landscape and the elephants into such a iconic place. There work is tireless and respected. I want to say a massive thank you, we throughy enjoyed our day. The hospitailty was exceptional and the experience was priceless. This is the 1st baby born in the sanctuary, she was incredible. These memories will be with us forever.
