Great location at the heart of ubud. Clean and spacious room, air conditioned, free wifi, hot water. All you need for a comfort stay. Breakfast is provided and it is quite tasty. A nice and very clean swimming pool. The staff are very friendly. Seem like manage by family as they staying in front of the hotel. You can see them doing painting, wood carving, and traditional Bali music instrument making.

Washroom a bit run down but still acceptable.

Will recommend to other budget travellers.

This place is absolutely fine. The rooms are fine, they have air con, the beds are comfortable and the place is clean. The owner came up to me every day and made very sure that all was well.

This hotel has been subject to some negative reviews on TA and they are not warranted. There were no cleanlieness issues and the staff were very pleasant. They did ask twice if I wanted to do something, I said no. They left me alone. We changed our minds and suddenly had a car 25% cheaper than the agencies on the street. The hotel has a small pool but this is excellent
the location is good. Its in a garden, behind a temple, off the main street. but I am a muslim and I did not feel at all bothered by the hindus there.

Ubud is a series of lanes alleys and farms. of course there are noises, Chickens and the sun wakes you up. If you have issues with either of these take your earplugs and eye shades from the plane. But only the upper penthouse rooms have this issue.

In general, I 100% reccomend this place. It gets 5 stars for what it is. A guest house.
Enjoy!

Room Tip: the cheaper rooms are quiet, Book on agoda for a cheaper price that they offer!!!

Great location in a beautiful setting with a gorgeous pool. Staff are LOVELY. Totally helpful and did not find them pushy at all other than to ask me how my day was and when they could clean the room. Its a super nice family running this place and rooms are clean, large and with hot water and air con (at least mine had it!) wifi strong too.

The checkin was probably the most pleasant of my experience at Dewa. The Pool and surroundings are quite pretty, but the staff constantly inquires about your plans while trying to sell you something to do in the area. I generally want to ask for something, not have it shoved in my face 5 times in 10 minutes. I found a small number of bedbugs in the room as well. The roosters are quite close to the bungalows, so expect a very early rise from the constant noise.

Much of the problems can be easily fixed by changing the bedding and using clean sheets (preferrably a top and bottom sheet), but the biggest issue requires a change in personality of the staff. Curiosity and helpfulness are wonderful and part of what makes Bali such an amazing place, but within the confines of a place to stay, I expect peace, not haggling.

Good location in the centre of Ubud. If you dont like an early rise, I would avoid. Buy some ear plugs before you arrive as the cockerels will wake you! Clean pool and gardens, but the rooms could use a little work. Breakfast was questionable, banana pancake good, but other than that there isn't much else.
