We found this company via Tripadvisor , thought to give it a try. Called the owner Pak Nyoman, booked our cycling tour for my husband and I and our 2 boys (13 & 11 yrs old).

Since we have our own car, we met Pak Nyoman at designated area in Ubud . First stop , the coffee plantation which was great, we got to sample all type of coffee and bought some home too then we started our cycling tour guided by Pak Nyoman and his cousin PUtu , bike were in great condition. mostly we cycled downhill, through the rice paddies, villages, temple and beautiful sceneries .. finished about 2 hours later then we had lunch at Pak Nyoman family home with delicious home cooking and great hospitality.
This was the best day out for our families. Thank you Nyoman and Putu for your great service and for opening your home to us. I would recommend this company "Jegeg Bali Cycling" to anyone !!

A great family day out and experience. Guides hospitality was first rate. Visited a coffee plantation, and then downhill ride through the rice fields. Back to the best Indonesian food we had at the family house. Highly recommend.

I whole-heartedly agree with all the reviewers here. This bike ride was a wonderful experience and a great way to enjoy the Bali country-side and to get a glimpse into the life and culture of the area.

Jegag Tours is a small family run operation that caters to smaller sized groups (max of 10 riders normally). From start to finish this was a smoothly run operation. They were quick to answer my e-mails, prompt in picking us up, and informative throughout the day.

We enjoyed all aspects of the trip from the van ride up to the plantation and on to Kintamani for breakfast/brunch, the bike ride down the mountain with stops along the way, and the highlight of the trip - a delicious lunch in their home. The whole time the guide is telling you about the local culture and answering any questions you may have.

i would highly recommend Jegeg Tours to anybody looking for a well run bike tour of Bali (and a most delicious lunch afterwards).

If you love cycling you have to try this! I had an amazing experience riding in the rain.
The kids in my tour group enjoyed the rain too! Nyoman and his team took really good care of us throughout the trip, handling out poncho and then kept nicely for us when the rain stopped. The bikes were in good condition even in the rain. None of us wanted to stay in the Van, we completed the jouney despite heavy rain. About 80% of the cycling route is downslope, you can relax and enjoy the scenery. There were villagers waving at us as we rode pass their homes. Another highlight of the trip got to be their home cooked lunch, best meal I had in Bali! They specially cooked it non spicy for the tourists. If you like spicy, their chili was power!

As our socks and shoes were soaking wet, Nyoman was very kind to give us slippers. I will definitely be back and probably try out their volcano trekking.

We stayed at Kuta and it was about 1 hour drive away from ubud, there was also no extra charges for transport. Totally worth it!

My friends and I planned that we would take a half day to explore the beautiful city by bike but, we had no idea how fun it was going to be. We picked Jegeg Tours because they were reasonably priced and they had good reviews.

They picked us up on time, helped us with our bags and they were friendly. During the drive, they gave us some background on Bali. We first stopped for an amazing breakfast at a restaurant ~1300 elevation with a nice view of the mountains. The food was really excellent and they were serving as much as you like. Then they took us to a Luwak Coffee Plantation which we didn't really care for but, it was interesting.

We were then driven to a side road where the elevation was ~1400' and they set us up with 18 to 21 speed mountain bikes, helmets and water. The bikes are in good shape, just check your brakes to be certain. The helmets are in good shape. A van will follow the group all the way to the bottom through schools, houses in the mountains, rice fields, beautiful scenery everywhere. You will stop once in a while to take pictures and view scenery. The guides have an ample amount of cold water ready for you. Most of the trip is downhill giving you lots of time to enjoy the ride. There are a couple of hills but no big deal for even the beginner bike rider.

After the ~2 hour ride, we went back to one of the guide's house to have a really nice home made lunch in a traditional fashion. This was a great experience tying in with the excursion well.

Again, the guides are knowledgeable and friendly. I recommend you do this either with friends, couples or even solo. You can meet good people on this excursion. I would go again, have fun.
