Found this restaurant on Trip advisor and decided on giving it a try. Amazing dining experience from the beginning to the every end. We started our 3 pre dinner snacks with a glass of cocktail at the beautiful bar accompanied by live Jazz music played by a 2 man band. Very romantic even though it was very bright and not the dark atmosphere type. We then moved on to the main dining hall and stopped by the kitchen to also have our last snack and also talked to Chef Nick.
Wonderful meal with plenty of wine selection to choose from. Highlights of the night were the Martino, Canadian lobster, the Duck Magret and of course the Venison Wellington. Very well curated and every mouthful was bursting with flavors.
Shame that Bali does not have any Michelin Star as this would be one that would make it to the list.
Highly recommended for a night of gastronomy experience.

Price per person for wine pairing and degustation menu was as expensive as many 1 star michelin restaurants in asia but food were not at all on par!

Food presentation was deconstructed, pretty and a few comes with chefs personal childhood stories which creates a rather heart warming dining experience.

Taste of each dishes tends to have an overall strong sweet flavour, cinnamon/spice notes and experimental fusion flavours.

The dessert bubur injin flavours was too deconstructed and too experimental that it is shallow & shy in taste in comparison to the traditional flavour. As indonesian i was expecting more than a good look on the plate. I was expecting an elevation or enhancement of product quality as well as flavours from the traditional bubur injin.

The beef wellington was great..meat was warm on the inside, tender and cooked beautifully..but i found that the rendang sauce and foiegras was too sweet all together.

The pumpkin dish to me were too insignificant that i feel that it should not be one of the choices in the menu unless chefs were doing something more creative, elevated with it instead of just serving it as beautifully plated 3-4 thin slices of pickle pumpkin with sprinkles.

The servings size overall are too miniscule, one bite size serving for most dishes.

Overall, i think that the wines and the food was too overpriced for the amount of quantity and quality served, components for taste or the variety of choice of ingredients used in each dishes when compared to other fine dinings in the area.

The service was very attended and kitchen team are friendly, waiters were well trainned.

Thank you for your dining at our restaurant.

Our chef's 8 course tasting menu is priced at Rp. 1,350,000++ ($95 / €85 / £77) which includes a few extra surprise dishes along the way make it a total of 14 .
Guests enjoy the experience and leave the restaurant content, if however that doesn't happen please just mention it to our staff and the chef will serve some extra food.

Unfortunately alcohol in Bali is expensive due to large importation taxes and duties, we do our best to fairly price our wine list considering the issue and are priced the same as other restaurants in Bali.
In addition to wines by the bottle and glass, we offer a wonderful wine pairing to accompany your tasting menu featuring 8 wines from around the world for Rp. 900,000++ ($63 / €58 / £51) .

Wow! From start to finish the experience at Aperitif was fantastic. The place, setting and most importantly the food was amazing, we loved every course, so tasty and interesting to look at, little pieces of art. The staff made us feel at ease and made sure we were happy at all times. We felt that all in all the price to pay was well worth the wonderful experience.

Went here with 4 of my girls gang, pick the 8.30 rsv and everybody are taking care of us like we're their first customer ever! Super delicious food with their perfect recommendation of wine (I regret for not doing the pairing!). The winner of the night is Venison Wellington, and oh please send our love to the Milk & Honey. Again, Thank you very much for accommodating us until very late!
