The walk through the rice fields to get there was beautiful. The food is fantastic - but the service is VERY slow.

“A beautiful location to watch a tropical storm and eat good organic food!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 6, 2014

We were recommended to try this restaurant and I am so pleased we did. We walked off the beaten track through the luscious paddy fields, stopping every two seconds to take stunning scenic photos at around 12:30pm, arriving just in time for lunch.
We were ushered immediately to a table that couldn't have been more perfect, two seats facing out over the rice fields, where we watched over chickens and local land workers. No sooner had we ordered off the vast organic menu, a tropical storm rolled in. We ordered a lot of different dishes as we'd seen so many good reviews that we couldn't not try them. We were not disappointed. The table next to us even asked what we'd got as they had food envy.
The juices are heavenly- with really cool bamboo straws and very tall glasses. The food was delicious, fresh and large portions, served very quickly.
The ambience is buzzy, but comfortable. It was very busy when we went so we were sitting immediately next to other tables, but it wasn't at all uncomfortable and just added to the atmosphere.
We were pleasantly shocked when we got the bill as it was very reasonably priced, considering everything we had!
I would certainly recommend this place to people who like a bit of a walk in the heat and are up for some delicious organic grub.

“You pick it - they cook it”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 30, 2014

This restaurant was recommended by an acquaintance and I'm glad we walked the 800m through the rice fields to try it. Although by the time we arrived we were perspiring up a treat :D
The narrow pathway leading to the restaurant is shared by pedestrians and motorcycles alike. We'd stop and let them pass before resuming our trek.
We were greeted with beautiful elevated views of the surrounding rice fields. The menu is extensive, cheap and caters for all. The roosters also let us know they were there which added to the charm.

“One of my favourite meals in Bali”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 29, 2014

This place was incredible. The service was not brilliant but I really didn't care when the sensational food and drink arrived. In a stunning, very Balinese setting, this was a wonderful meal and incredibly healthy. Highly recommended. Have the Nasi Campur even if you don't like rice or another part of the contents because it is all served separately. And get your panorama view setting sorted on your camera before arriving!

“Really good food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 28, 2014

Sari Organik has two locations one in Penestanan and another in a rice field. The location in the rice field is a great place to be to enjoy dinner and the amazing sun set. I probably ate here the most during my one month stay in Ubud. Their pizza is pretty good as well as their fish kabob (when they have it).
