“Delicious Organic Food with Rice Paddy View”
Reviewed August 5, 2012

Awesome healthy organic food with beautiful views of rice paddies. It's not cheap, but worth splurging once in a while.

“Beautiful place to chill and have meals made from local produce”
Reviewed July 31, 2012 via mobile

Sari is about 800m away from ubud town - far from the maddening traffic but totally worth it. You need to walk or get a motorbike in. It is in the midst of beautiful rice fields and its decor though simple, the view is quiet and panoramic.

We had really good babaganosh and smoothies here. All made from local produce from Sari.

“5 star views, ~3 star food”
Reviewed July 27, 2012

We visited Sari organic on our honeymoon. It is quite hard to find (insofar as the rice paddy walk is hard to find), and you pretty much need to follow a guidebook or get someone to show you there. That being said, it was very crowded for lunch and reservations are recommended, especially because the views on the bottom deck on the railing are some of the best of any restaurant I have ever been to. It is tranquil unless (and this was the case for us) there are running yelling kids all over the place---not the fault of the restaurant.

The food here is more expensive than its surroundings, probably due to its popularity, but it was OK. The hummus came with one pita; what the heck. The juices we got (ginger and mango lussi) were almost undrinkable, with the mango being extremely sour (unlike most of the ripe mangos we had in Bali) and the ginger so spicy it was quite unpleasant. Maybe it is because we are not the hippie set who really seeks out hardcore juice, but that was how it felt to our palates.

Overall, this place is all starred and beloved by the books, and this has caused it to become likely overcrowded and more expensive than surrounding restaurants. That being said if you want awesome rice paddy views and a nice staff, reserve a table and check it out.

“Kids on the farm”
Reviewed July 20, 2012

Sari Organik lived up to my already high expectation - the best bit was showing the kids exactly where their lunch was coming from - and buying some bamboo straws to take home.

“Organic resto by the rice fields”
Reviewed July 20, 2012

I walked my dog often to Sari Organic along the green rice fields. In the morning you can see the mountains. Very nice athmosphere with view of rice fields and ducks and dogs playing. They grow their own organic vegie and bake fresh bread and pita bread. Friendly owner. Very well recommended !
