“Finally, good cocktails!”
Reviewed October 22, 2013 via mobile

Finding decent cocktails in Indonesia was a bit difficult. We had some that were so ridiculously alcoholic they weren't pleasant and some where you questioned whether there was actually any alcohol in there in the first place! Ibu Rai had a mango mojito on their specials list, and it was so good I drunk quite a few of them!

The food and ambience were also really nice, good choice of dishes and free mini appetisers too. One of our best meals in Ubud (and best cocktails in Indonesia)!

“Filled restaurant, with good tasteful food”
Reviewed October 21, 2013

Walking through one of the big streets to a supermarket we saw this restaurant, already being busy. On the way back we were lucky to get a table.

Orderd the springrolls, and an Indonesian dish (forgot the name) my wife ordered an avocado chicken salad. Unfortunately they were out of avocado, but they suggested to replace it with mango.

The food was good and tasteful, nice spring rolls and we both liked our main dishes. They also served additional spring rolls as an offer from the house.

The restaurant has quite some seats, but they were all filled at a certain point during our stay.
This place offers value for money and I think that is known by the public.

The food and drinks were very tasty. The ambiente was great to, even though it was at one of the main streets the atmosphere was cozy.

“Yummy Nasi Goreng”
Reviewed October 15, 2013

Our hotel driver suggested this restaurant. At night they have pretty fairy lights in the tress out the front. I ate nasi goreng here twice. The first time it was too big so the nectar time I shared with my friend. The rose wine was surprisingly drinkable.

The staff seemed tired. I wouldn't say the best service but certainly not terrible.

“Delicious Balinese Food”
Reviewed October 12, 2013

We walked past the resturant and as it was very busy thought it must be good and we'd give it a try-we were so glad we did. We spent 7 nights in Bali and this was possibly the best meal of our holiday. The resturant isn't huge but has a lovely atmosphere and is well decorated.

They gave us complimentary spring rolls to start and we both had starters and mains. My Nasi Goren was absolutely delicious, I then helped my husband with his black rice pudding which was also very good. The staff were very friendly and polite. We would definatly recommend this resturant and if in Ubud again will head straight to Ibu Rai for something to eat. As with most things on our holiday in Bali we found prices to be very reasonable and good value for money.
