We stayed in graha moding for our 3 first nights in Bali. We had booked online and when we saw the place it even more beautiful than the pictures let know - a small part of paradise just outside Ubud. We stayed on the first floor of the wooden house and had a spectacular view of the river valley and the palm trees. The rooms were very clean and there was no need for air conditioning as the night in Ubud get quite cold.
We were met by a very friendly staff that could make everything happen.
On our second morning there Ketut the manager took us on a great trek in the rice fields where he explained the Balinese culture to us. One of the locals showed us how to clime a palm tree and opened a fresh coconut for us.
We had no car there so we took a cap forth and back to the centre of Ubud, a 10 minutes drive. We didn't mind because we really enjoyed being a bit away from the hassle of the city.
We can only highly recommend Graha ModingMore
