My friends and I are crazy about Balinese babi guling so we have tried a few bit nothing beats Ibu Oka.

The crispy skin is absolutely delicious.

We tried a few others but no one can match Ibu Oka.

If you are in Ubud, definitely a must try.

Tender good suckling pig. Wasnt mind blowing, but tasted good. Worth a visit if in Ubud. Can be a bit tricky to find, cause its placed behind the street in to an alley.

Try to visit the "original" was told to walk down to the annex location 200m away in a alley. Overall very overrated, the pork was "moist" because of the tasteless sauce they slop onto it - think diluted soy sauce - otherwise the pork is over-done.

Chinese or Puerto Rico version of the roast pig are much better

Our driver told us to go here for lunch, and to go early as the best taste of the pig is early as it is more succulent. So, off we went!
I am vegetarian so all I had was the squash & some rice (still, was tasty enough & filling) but this is really my husband's review and from what he said, what he got was delicious & so tasty & moist. He got the special with the soup and the plate of pig etc.. he even loved the soup. He said, loads of flavour and actually refreshing on the hot day. He loved all of it except the 'black pudding' style sausage, which he isn't a fan of anyway.
My only down point... besides the fact that i'm ethically vegetarian- but like I said, this is really my husband's review. Is that people are still allowed to smoke inside! Even though it is an open-ish area, I find that disgusting.

been to this place many time, cause i love it very much, the crispy skin and also the blood sausage, very recomended babi guling place in ubud, will be back another time for sure
