Kafe is a super restaurant. Not only is the food fantastic, healthy and dependable, but the staff is fantastic! Also, it's sort of like Cheers - everyone there knows each other and you're bound to run into familiar faces. Don't be surprised if you soon become a regular :)

Awesome food if you are vegetarian or care about healthy food. They accept credit cards which is rare. Great atmosphere, be sure to check it out if you are around Ubud.

Delicious veggy organic food....I LOVED IT!!!!
Fantastic salads (bowls are big and full of different vegetables.....if you don't like onion....specify it:::but this is something you have to do in all the indonesian restaurants....the same for garlic...) and hummus with pita bread is really delicious!!!!!!!!
Try Vanilla Lime Soda....AMAZING!!!!!!!!!

We ate here with our kids twice, and ordered through the phone once during our 4-day stay in Ubud. That's how much we like their food, which was healthy, fresh, and just really yummy! The Vietnamese Salad Rolls were superb, the Grilled Tuna Steak tasty and tender and the array of Smoothies and Shakes dizzying to choose from but I recommend the Yogurt Honey Lassie. Their desserts and baked goods all looked scrumptious!

Service wasn't so great though, and the place was quite humid both day and night. Also, if you're into eating where the locals eat, this isn't quite the place to go to, as the placed is often packed with tourists and expats.

If you are in Ubud, you absolutely have to go to Kafe. My husband, 9 month old and I went almost day. The staff was incredibly friendly and the food was fresh and tasty! Plus, you meet very interesting people sitting around the Kafe and can get great advice from your fellow travelers and expats. Don't miss it - go to Kafe!
