Absolutely stunning! What a view! the experience was heightened by the accomodating staff. I will miss their smiling faces! I could not have imagined any other place to be for relaxation other than here. This is truly one of the nicest place I have been and stayed. I will definately come back here. I have fallen in love with the place, the culture, the food and the people. If you are looking for a tranquil sanctuary where you can leave the hectic world behind, Pantulan is definately the place!

We stayed at Villa Pantulan in January 2010 and celebrated our wedding there. We were 12 people and had the best holiday ever. The villas are beautiful, the staff are great and extremely helpful and the scenery blows your mind. Dian, the manager, helped us so much and made sure that both our stay and our wedding was unforgettable. He helped us both with the menu for our wedding dinner, arranging tours in the area, and made sure that we had everything we needed every day. Villa Pantulan will be in our hearts forever and we hope to go back for a reunion eventually. All our family and friends who went with us have recommended it to everyone they know. No doubt the best experience ever.

What an experience!!! it was a beautiful 3 days we spent in Pantulan. We were apprehensive about the place since we were 6 adults and 6 young children, but the staff made us feel so at home that we did 'nt want to leave after our 3 nights. The rooms, the view and the croaking symphony at night were fantastic. its the perfect place to relax and unwind but one should definitely stay for a week or more. The children also enjoyed the pool and just being able to run around the house without constraints. Mr Budiyasa the manager was extremely helpful and organized our excursions to the volcano and the river rafting. Anny kept the kids occupied and even stayed back a night with the kids when we wanted stay out late. The room are tastefully done up and the bathrooms are quite an experience....the lizards too start to grow on you after a while. The spa room has a beautiful view which makes the massage all the better, in fact i can't think of a single thing that i did not like. It was a very memorable holiday made especially so by the people and ambience at Pantulan.

We were picked up by Pantulan's driver Piel who was very efficient and had a pleasant nature. It was nice to be met and assisted with luggage and be transported in an air conditioned van and just watch the scenery roll by.
He explained Bali's customs and different regions during our drive to the villa.

Travelling with grandparents and 2 small children ( 2 and 4 ) can be an effort, but all the staff at the Villa made life very easy for us.
They met all of our needs from delicious breakfast made by Mary and Made and babysitting when required with Kardek to friendly advice on restaurants or site seeing trips from Piel and Budi, the Villa manager.

The outlook over the rice paddies is just spectacular. We found we spent most of our time sitting in the various lounge areas or by the pool just gazing out at the view and watching the kids play in the pool.
The lounge area near the pool does have a slippery floor when wet, but we made sure the kids dried their feet or stayed around the pool area until dry.

The rooms are all spacious and have beautiful outdoor bathroom areas.
We were initially concerned that they only had fans in the bedrooms and no a/c but we found this to be O.K. the first night.
Our kids had been bitten by mosquitoes when we were in Nusa Dua, but we found the mosquito nets and fans at Villa Pantulan and the cooler evenings in Ubud much easier for all of us.
We had 2 rooms for us and the kids and my wife's parents were across the lotus pond so they had some privacy.

The WI Fi connection was great and Budi the manager let us use the office and computers to check emails.
My wife and I had a massage in their massage tower with views over the rice paddies and the sounds of the waterfall. Very relaxing.

Whenever we needed to go anywhere Piel was happy to drop us off and wait or come back at a certain time and pick us up.
Most days we would go into Ubud and shop or visit temples and other villages for wood carving, stone carving or paintings.
The location is great as it's only a few minutes into the centre of Ubud, yet it feels a million miles away in a quiet village in the middle of the rice paddies.
We took the kids for a walk through the village and they loved seeing all the balines kids, scooters, chickens and locals going about their day.

We did go into Ubud for dinner a couple of nights but found that we almost preferred staying at Pantulan and eating the delicious dinners there.
They we very good at preparing both traditional balinese/ Indonesian meals for us as well as pasta, pizza and other various treats for our kids.

Our kids and I loved the media room.
Plenty of films for adults, but make sure you bring some DVD's for children. We had a couple and also bought some at the markets.

We can't wait to get back to Ubud and stay at Villa Pantulan, Maybe in January.
Thank you Budi and staff...........

We stayed at the Pantulan for a long weekend from Singapore. To be honest, we didn't really know what to expect but we were amazed when we got there. The setting and villa itself for very serene and away from the hussle and bussle of central Ubud. We were the only ones there at the time and the staff couldn't have done more for us. They drove us in and out of town, provided with DVDs for the cinema room and cooked a special romantic meal for us by the pool, overlooking the paddy fields. We would definitely highly recommend a visit.
