Good for: Local cuisine, Business meetings, Families with children
Dining options: Lunch, Dinner, Late Night, Breakfast, Reservations, Takeout
Description: Ideally located next to the football field in central Ubud on Jalan Dewi Sita (just off Monkey Forest Road), Tutmak has consistently gained popularity since opening its doors in a smaller space across the road in 1994. Over the years, maintaining our basic concept of good coffee, fresh food and home-style atmosphere has time and again won over new fans and brought back loyal regulars, both local and international.

“An Old Favorite”
Reviewed October 22, 2012

I've been a frequent diner here since my first visit to Bali back in 2000. The quality of the food has been superb and consistent throughout the years. The Green Goddess Lasagna is as decadent as a deity's dish should be, the trademark Tutmak salad basil dressing is just too good for words. Great coffees and desserts, efficient and friendly staff.

“A must visit spot in Ubud”
Reviewed October 11, 2012

Good coffee, fantastic carrot cake, open air seating area; either you enjoying with friends or simply alone. It's a place to be. A place to read your fav lit, chat with friends, or meet up with other travelers; centrally located, (not too) quiet and surrounded by interesting stores and galleries.

“Perfect Place for Breakfast”
Reviewed October 8, 2012

We heard it was the "best coffee in Ubud" so we went straight there for breakfast after our early-morning flight. They have a specials chalkboard that they set right at your table to help you decide. I got the "Middle Eastern Breakfast" and my husband got the "Huevos Rancheros" we both got some homemade banana bread too. It was all amazing and my husband loved the coffee. We liked it so much that we went back the next morning. We got the "Eggs Benedict" the second day (and some more banana bread!) which was, again, very good. It is conveniently located on Dewi Sita which connects Monkey Forest and Hanoman and is right next to the football field. It opens at 8:00am. Highly recommended!

Centrally located, right on main square. Gorgeous set up, authentic food and ambiance. Best local coffee and rendang. Friendly staff, fast service. Ideal place for a lunch or coffee break, on your next shopping trip to Ubud.
