Good for: Local cuisine, Business meetings, Families with children
Dining options: Lunch, Late Night, Breakfast, Dinner, Reservations, Takeout
Description: Ideally located next to the football field in central Ubud on Jalan Dewi Sita (just off Monkey Forest Road), Tutmak has consistently gained popularity since opening its doors in a smaller space across the road in 1994. Over the years, maintaining our basic concept of good coffee, fresh food and home-style atmosphere has time and again won over new fans and brought back loyal regulars, both local and international.

Great place overlooking the sports field in Ubud. Very nice menu, but my favorite is to come on Sundays when they have excellent Eggs Benedict! Also, their hash brown potatoes are the best in Ubud. But their menu is very good and varied. Get a table overlooking the sports field if something is happening there.

I have been going to Tutmak for years, back when they were a smaller restaurant further down Dewi Sita. The food is consistently good, and the staff is very well trained. There are some name restaurants where you cannot get a waiter/waitress as they are all too busy gossiping in the corner. At Tutmak, the staff is on the ball. The offerings are both Western and Indonesian, so you can take friends there and they will find something they like no matter where they are from. This is a comfortable place, and one of my long-time favorites. I honestly don't know if reservations are accepted, but it is big enough I have never had a problem getting a table.

In a perpendicular street to Forest monkey street (near stadium), this restaurant proposes a wide choice of Balinese or western dishes in competitive prices. Wine is a bit expensive. Count about 10 $/per. Many tables look onto the outside. The service is a little bit long but very friendly. Mie Goreng and Nasi Campur are very well. A good address.

Busy place, I can see why. I went for dinner so it was already dark, the place is pretty with lights and a fish pond. The food was amazing. We are both pescitarian so ordered the nasi campur with grilled tuna. What a treat, we were so impressed, we stayed for dessert, which was the best fried banana i've had in Bali. Highly recommend the food here, it's fresh and really good value for money. The service was also good.
