I didn't book in advance as I came here after moving out of another hotel (due to air-con problem) thus the only air-con room available is the Tunjung Room which is not featured in their website. There isn't any view or terrace but the LARGE room and a nice bathroom with a bathtub have more than made up for it as I'm only staying two nights. The size of the room is good enough for the whole family of 5-6!! Love the Balinese design and accents of the hotel. Pool is pretty but water not so clear. Breakfast is good as usual - having tasted it from staying in Alam Shanti two years ago. Although my room is nearer to the outside road, it's still pretty quite and thus I manage good quality of sleep. The staff is friendly and nice although there was a slight miscommunication in one instance when I booked transport back from town. Yes, they provide free transfer within Ubud town. It's quite a long walk to the reception or pool side but that's not a main problem. The only `complaint' is that the towel rack in the bathroom is full of dirt and cobweb! Looks like no one used it and the cleaner didn't clean (as they have other hooks on the wall). Anyway, having so much room all to myself is a real luxury and definitely for the amount I paid, is great value-for-money!

Stay for 4 night, the staff is so nice and friendly, Nice place to stay!

Stayed here 26-28th Jan 2013. I guess words simply can't express the satisfying feeling for this truly humble place. The staffs are genuinely kind and helpful. The rooms (especially our Mangga Madu 2) is worth beyond what we paid. The room is really huge and comfortable for usd55, with amazing rice field view where bebek (ducks) will 'perfom' every morning. Short distance to the streets and you may request their complimentary transport to fetch you around Ubud. Breakfast & teatime is good, with bakeries from Cafe Wayan - love their hot ginger drink too. View my photos to appreciate Kebun Indah, I'll surely come here again.

Room Tip: Mangga Madu 2 has amazing paddy field view, very huge and has AC. Kodok 1 & 2 are also nice, the...

Wonderful little hotel in middle of Ubud, Bali but still with ricefields surrounding. Very nice, friendly and helpful staff. Free shuttle to famous Wayan Café, same owner, if you don't feel like walking. A little gem with fantastic breakfast and afternoon tea included. Breakfast is served on your own terrace, porch or balcony and it is fantastic. Great value for money.

Room Tip: We took the larger room Manga Madu and here we had aircondition. The smaller rooms had nicer bathroo...

Stayed here last December. It's a simple establishment, not a fancy one. But it just met all the standards of a good accomodation for such reasonable price. They have a suite (Padi Suite) with 2 beds and 2 baths, very ideal for a family with big kids/teenagers. Would be back to stay in that suite. Not forget to mention....breakfast was awesome, freshly made and the tropical fruits were so lovely....Location wise is perfect, easy access to all Ubud areas. Keep up the good work ! Love it !

Kodok 2 was perfect with a private patio at the side where you can enjoy breakfast among the luscious surroundings. The bathroom was big and nicely segregated though it could use with a bench to place your open luggage and brighter lighting especially at the powder area sink. A full length mirror would also have been a good addition. The bed had one of the most comfortable mattress, sheets and pillows I've ever come across. I've had the best, most restful sleep here! Top class service, excellent breakfast and tranquil atmosphere all round.

Location is a bit away from the heart of Monkey Forest Road and quite a distance from Ubud Market but complimentary transport can be arranged. Walking around Ubud is also very safe and easy, if you get tired, just pop into one of the many spas along the way!

Coming back to the room is like coming home, you feel so comfortable and safe. Highly recommended and will definitely return!

Like all of the hotels by this owner Kebun Indah was a charming place to stay. It has rice paddies and the cottages are all in Balinese style and unique. This is the first place that the owner put in operation and it feels like it. So if you can stay at Alam Jiwa, Alam Indah, or Alam Shanti but if not this is a very nice option to have.
