“Gede” what an amazing (brother / bhai) guy, really made us feel comfortable, service was 5star from him and other staff. The hotel was amazing many features and vegetarian food was delicious everyday. Made special hot milk for me with spices as I don’t drink tea or coffee.

Gede help to organise all my itinerary even from home. Amazing guy, you will not be disappointed with this guy and the hotel, best service received ever!!!!

This is our first visit to Bali n v want it b very special.so v decided to choose the best property which have everything for kids.n Visesa didn't fail our expectations.it is wonderful property surrounded by rice fields n many activities for kids.

We loved the location in the paddy fields, and enjoyed exploring different walks into Ubud rather than using the hotel shuttle bus. Whilst not luxurious, our villa was very comfortable, quiet and private. The staff were very friendly and the hotel grounds beautiful. We loved that this hotel was very Balinese, and worked at keeping the culture alive. The food was generally good, but I have a shellfish allergy and was mistakenly served prawn mie goreng. A chicken replacement was hastily cobbled together, but was missing some ingredients, including the chicken! This was in addition to the buffet meal the previous night, where poorly lit dishes were named in Indonesian, with no description of the ingredients. I subsequently lost confidence in the hotels ability to work around food allergies. However, we enjoyed our stay, and would consider returning, and perhaps eating elsewhere.

Room tip: We were in 601, with neighbors on one side only.

this is my secound time i'm visiting desa visesa ubud. the amazing romantic aniversary dinner at padi restaurant. my witresses ni wayan was so friendly and excellent knowledge, she explain in every meal we have, make me feell like at home. in overall the food was delicious and healty. best of the best restaurant in my experience. for sure i will be back in the Future soon. thank you very much to all padi restaurant team. and special thanks to mr indra.

We are on our honeymoon and we couldn’t wait to relax at Visesa. After viewing all the photos and the top reviews we were convinced we were in for a treat but unfortunately we left incredibly disappointed.

The welcome was beautiful. We absolutely loved the check in ceremony and we were mesmerized by the location. We were off to a great start but everything went down hill from there.

We arrived on Saturday night tired and decided to stay for the Balinese dinner and dance. The food was little and not good quality. The dance was 5 minutes of professional dancers an hour of the kids dancing on stage.

The room has terrible isolation. Throughout the night you could hear everything happening in the other rooms. The noise was none stop all night long. Worst still, our room had a terrible smell of raw sewage. We complained three times and each time all they did was put a candle in the bathroom that didn’t mask the smell and finished an hour later (cf. photo attached).

Even worse however were them knocking on our door the 1st morning at 9:30am asking if we wanted our rooms cleaned and again the second morning at 8:24am mistaking us for another guest that asked for a buggy. So tired we went to sleep by the pool and where told at 15h50 that the pool would close at 16h!

A few other things we didn’t like, they only offer 4 shuttles into town a day! The drive takes 6 minutes by shuttle and needs to be pre-booked. If you miss the shuttle they only offer you a taxi for 200kRp instead of 70kRp. This leads nicely to another complaint, everything is being charged. My husband was sick and I asked if they had a headache tablet, they said they would need to call a nurse and charge for that. In the room they even have a sheet with how much everything costs (cf.attached photo) - from pillow case to beach towel. In comparison, we stayed at The Seminyak Beach Resort and Spa (highly recommend), each room had a beautiful beach bag. When I went to ask to buy they gave it as a gift! That is the quality of a 5*.

In short, the location is beautiful but the service and facilities are not worthy of a 5*. We would not recommend to stay.
