My wife and i was on our honeymoon there from july 20-27.stay in the guesthouse upon referal from a friend. Its a nice cosy place.the room is spacious and comfy except for the bathroom and its far from the beach but overall its a nice quiet place to stay in.the staff is frendly, the pool is just outside your room if you are on the first floor, good breakfast(but not variety to choose from) and there's lots of convinent store across the street..a salon,a japanese restaurant, diving school etc...definitely will be back if i'm coming to Bali again...

Room Tip: room are clean every single day even if you doesn't request for it...excellent service.

This guesthouse looks great but the rooms were full of (dead, dying and slightly more active) flies. The room comes with a big and very useful insect spray. The sheets were a bit spotty and the towels smelled funny. The staff tries to help where they can but this place is not running as well as the pool pictures suggest it does.

Stayed at the Puri Sindhu Mertha Suites (not to be mistaken with their sister guesthouse close by) during December and January and it comes highly recommended for either leisure or business purposes. We stayed in one of the rooms facing the central pool and most of the time it was very quiet. There was the occassional family staying in the family suite and the children tended to noisely take over the pool, but the families stayed only on short visits so it wasn't a major problem. Both bedroom and bathrooms are large complete with aircon, outdoor hot water shower and large comfortable beds. There was a tendancy for flooding in the room during heavy rain which was a shame as the establishment appeared fairly new. Breakfast choice was limited but I was quite happy with having the Mei Goreng most mornings and breakfast was brought to your room promptly. The distance from the beach was a good 20 minute or so walk, however, there was two major positives with the location. One was the warung located opposite which did 'takeaways' and the best Mei Goreng I have tasted and for only 80 pence! Secondly, on the other end of the cost scale, an excellent coffee house called Kopi Bali which could be reached by a side road in 2-3 minutes. The guys who looked after the suites were constantly sweeping, gardening, tidying etc and the Manager of both sites, Ketut, I found particularly helpful.
Generally a good choice but if want to be closer to the beach there are other excellent options to choose from.

We stayed at the Puri Sindhu Mertha Suites in Sanur for 3 nights in September.

The hotel is very nice, and seems quite new. All of the rooms face in towards the swimming pool, so you are only ever a few steps away from going for a swim.

Inside the rooms there is an AC unit, a fridge, double bed, wardrobe, safe plus a bathroom with 2 showers, a toilet & a sink.

The rooms were very clean, but do watch out for lizards, they think it's their home too!

The breakfasts were fairly good, there's a vegetarian menu for you to choose from the night before and they then deliver the food to your room in the morning at a time appointed by you.

We took one of the hotels packages, which we found to be good value, 3 nights accomodation, breakfast, airport transfers, 2 x 1hr massage in your room, 1 x 8hr tour of the island for 1.75m IDR.

You do need to know that this hotel is a good 15 minute walk into town, or a 20,000 IDR taxi ride.

It's my 3rd time to Bali, first trip to Sanur. The staff didn't mind my request to have twin beds (what we've asked for when making reservations) instead of the double bed room we were shown. What's even more ----- on seeing that my twin room doesn't have a nice long couch/daybed (see picture), I asked if they could bring that furniture over from the next room ----- AND THEY DID! :) Top marks for service! The light bulb in the toilet was not working, so the changed it as well.

Room wise, the bed was comfortable. The picture of the bathroom is nicer than reality and the water pressure wasn't great. The pool was so tiny we didn't bother.

Remember though for that the for IDR 350.000 per night, we were still quite happy about the room.

We planned to stay for 5 nights but left after two nights because we wanted to be near a nice beach. The beach at Sanur is not as nice as the beach at Kuta/Legain. The hotel is far from the beach too.

There's a diving school just across the road. If you are in Sanur for diving, then stay here. Nice place to stay for a small budget.

By the way, the banana pancake was yummy...... hmmm... the mee goreng (fried noodles) was nice. I agree with previous review that breakfast was not substantial. The coffee and tea is forgetable.

Well, before I start, I've gotta to make clear that I stayed in Sindhu Mertha Suite instead of the Guest house, a few hundred meters away from the guest house.
From the info i gathered, the Suite is newer than the Guest house, and a little bit more expensive.
It's in Danau Poso 27, if I recall correctly.
The Hotel is of the same group, and ran by the same group of guys, to my understanding. Tripod Advisor may relocate this comment to Puri Sindhu Mertha Suite, when Tripodadvisor open a page on it.

This Hotel, I would say, is pretty small by size, 9 Standard rooms + 1 family suite. However, the facilty of each rooms, I would say not lesser than a 3 to 4 stars hotel. Each room has it's AC, TV, barfridge (which you have to fill up yourself), Bathroom with it's shower (open air) and bathtub, except that the hotel doesn't provide you with toiletries.

However, I really enjoy my stay there for almost everything, except that for the breakfast, this hotel should do something more, instead of serving instant noodle.

The rooms (tried 2 rooms, 1st room on my first 2 days, and the other 3 days after I came back from Kintamanin) were clean, and relatively new. Every room is facing the pool, situated in the middle of the hotel compound. You may just jump from your room to the pool directly, hahaha.

And not to forget the staff, pretty friendly, just like friends and family.

All in all, i would rate this hotel as recommended.

As for the Hotel management, if you guys have time to look at this homepage, I'd suggest you improve on your breakfast. You may collaborate with the nearby Saribundo Nasi Padang for a more sumptous breakfast, like Lontong, Soto, or some other thing. That for sure will not cost you much.

In Addition to it, you guys may think of putting a satelite TV to each room.

Keep your standard high!

The guesthouse is about 5/10 min walk from Sanur beach, easy to reach really. Breakfast was excellent and the staff are very welcoming and nice. Pick up service from the airport is really cheap and they've organized it for me. The room was quite large, just a bit dusty but overall pretty good. The little garden and the pool were really nice and cosy. Best value! Highly recommended!
