Nice interior villa, clean enough. Restaurant also serves good and fresh food with great service. Cleaning service comes 2x day. Swimming pool in the villa is useless, seems dirty, just as completion for the villa. Overall, this is nice place in the middle of Denpasar

When our driver pulled up at the hotel entrance we thought he was kidding. The place was a dump with all kinds of construction going on. We thought OMG what is this place !! When we came at the reception everything was fine and you did not notice anything from the room or pool of the happenings going on. The rooms are big, but old, they can use an overhaul. The breakfast was good, nothing special. The pool is small but relaxing. We absolutely hated Sanur beach. Coming from east, west and middle Bali this was a shock. There are nicer places in Bali to visit.

Our second stay at Sri Phala in Sanur (7 nights) and it only gets better. Balcony again overlooking the rear pool and restaurant area. Tried the new front swimming pool this time around and looking forward to trying the new restaurant on our next stay in 2015. Staff are great and helpful, arranging airport transfers and when our self organised tour went wrong they assisted with phone calls and rearranged for another day. Good value and no fuss, great location to use as base camp and venture out and return to relax poolside. Next trip we are splitting our holiday staying at Sri Phala and trying their sister hotel the Rama Phala in Ubud. Love this place.

Room Tip: Go for the deluxe for extra room if you like space.

It is one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever been! The gardens, the bungalows, the swimming pool - all with an exquisite beautiful design.
Although conveniently located in the village, it is so quiet and calm, it seems we are in paradise.
The staff is very helpful (even sometimes with some language problems - some struggle with English) but they try to help.
Rooms are very comfortable and spacious.
Food is very good.
It is an excellent hotel and a very good base if one wants to visit the interior part of Bali.

Room Tip: Travellers with some difficulty moving around, should request a room near the reception area. To acc...

staying with my family ( wife and my little daughter) . first impression were not so great, its is hard to find the parking space and the security didin't help a lot. next to the lobby the staff were very friendly, serve us nice fresh welcome drink and check-in time were quite hustle
The staff then take us to the room and my first impression about the room and hotel were "very very clean and green" the staff also inform us with some valuable information regarding the hotel
One thing the hotel need to fix is their water which is dark and it stink. They already put signed of warning if the guest can't drink the water, but it still the quality is too bad even for just taking shower or washing hands

Room Tip: before decide to book make sure you are ok with the water

Dear Pak Wihantara,

First, thank you for staying with Rama Phala Resort & Spa, and we have better parking space than other resort in the centre of Ubud. And unfortunately, our resort are busy on that time because we are full booked.

Regarding to the water issue, we would like to inform you that we are using the deep well water and not public water sources. And the water also have been filtered. We will work hard to solve this issue to make better. We are sure we will do harder to finish this case. And we also would like to say sorry to make your feeling not convenient. We are sure that will be not happened again in the future.

Once again, thank you for your staying and look forwards to welcoming you again soon.

With best regards,

Ketut

Booked a deal online to stay here for 2 nights.

When we got to the hotel after travelling an 1hr we were told that they had uploaded the incorrect prices online and that we had to pay an additional 400k each.

Cut along story short, because we refused as we're backpackers on a budget they put us in a room directly above the building works eventhough one of the staff had told us they were upgrading people free of charge in rooms away from the refurb works. We asked to be moved but was told these were
the standard rooms which we booked.

The resort itself was pleasant with a beautiful garden. Pool was nice but I nearly broke my back slipping over the algae on the steps into the pool and surrounding areas.
The next morning we came down to breakfast and they were scrubbing it so I suppose that's a positive, except the now green skimmed swimming pool . Lol

Rooms were very good but the bathroom (in our room) was extremely dated and the shower tiles yellow with body fat.

Time to leave Bali I think, the traffic fumes are killing us.

Not impressed with Sri Phala, we were punished because of THEIR error.

When the works are completed the resort will look very impressive.

When we arrived we were concerned as it looked like the venue was under major renovations, but we needn't have worried as this was all at the front of the resort.
We spent 8 nights here, which was relaxing. When we first arrived they tried to put my sister and I in a double bed, which I stated was not appropriate, so they arranged for an upgrade immediately. The room was very spacious and comfortable with a balcony that overlooked the restaurant and pool area.
Despite the resort being on a main road, little noise was heard even when sitting by the pool which was clean with very comfortable chairs. Pool side service was extremely good and the food on the menu was good, although not extensive. Breakfast was good although not a lot to choose from.
It is a short walk out the back entrance to the beach and some great shopping along the beach front. Sanur is about 1/2hr walk and is very cheap by taxi (only $2-3 AU) where there are many great restaurants and shopping available. There is also a supermarket and laundry service just down the road.

Room Tip: Rooms towards the back are quiet with great access.
