“Lovely quiet villa - a hidden jem”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 19, 2013

Despite being located on a busy road the villas are set back in a secluded garden area. Rooms are large and clean. We booked a 2 bed garden villa but I'm pretty sure it was two deluxe rooms but this suited our needs anyway. The only negative is the bathroom windows didn't offer much privacy - a curtain would fix this. Apart from that it was a lovely two night stay and we enjoyed eating in the restaurant and using the pool.

We stayed here for two nights at the end of a wonderful holiday. I had made a mistake with my online booking and arrived on the wrong day but the manager was most helpful and accommodating which we were very grateful for. We loved staying here as we felt like we were staying in our own private resort. The little restaurant was so pretty overlooking the pool and the breakfasts were lovely. We also dined there twice ( I found it difficult to entice my husband away from the place!!). Thoroughly recommended.

The personnel was very friendly (but aren't they all in Bali?) and the Deluxe room we reserved was huge. The bathroom has an open air shower, so make sure you close the door to avoid all kinds of insects in the bedroom. The room is very clean, but for such a new hotel it's shocking to find hardly any electric sockets in the room (we had to move the tv bench to find the only free socket). No wi-fi in the rooms, just in the lobby and restaurant. Another disadvantage is the distance to the center of Ubud, but there enough good restaurants in the neighbourhood.

It was a great times when we were stayed there, just for few days but we were liked and satisfied, the swimming pool was a small one but very nice, the breakfast was fine and the room as well as the staff were great.

We did enjoy our stay in this hotel. The hotel is located in close proximity to Ubud central streets and very close to Monkey Forest. Ubud market and the hotel are located on opposite sides of the central area but its good to have a walk through the streets with lots of shops and galleries. Airport transfer arranged by the hotel worked well without any delays. Hotel atmosphere is very quiet and relaxing. Hotel garden is very beautiful and well maintained. Rooms are big and clean with big balconies. Semi-open shower is cool. Breakfast buffet variety seem to be a bit less in comparison with some other hotels, but food is very good especially scrambled eggs and potato.. Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. Of course bear in mind that booking taxis and tours through hotel is more expensive but the guys do their job well and charge for convenience. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a stay.

Room Tip: There are several villas with rooms on first and second floors. All rooms have separate entrance. I...

Only stayed a couple of days at this hotel but wished stayed longer.
The rooms are still fresh and beautifully clean and the gardens are well maintained although for elderly people there are stairs to manage if room is beyond pool and restaurant area
The staff were very attentive, friendly and informative and most spoke good English
The Restaurant is in the middle of the property and next to the pool so well positioned.
Breakfast was buffet style so good choice.
Would recommend to friends and would definately stay there again

Room Tip: If stairs are a problem ask for a room between Reception and Restaurant

Booked this resort online and were given the Deluxe room, a wonderful 41sqm room with king size bed, placed at ground floor, well furnished in typical Balenese style, close to the indoor spa. Unfortunately, when tried to extend our stay for 3 more nights, couldn't find any other offer but the villa: there was a political conference at Sanur right the day after and was very hard to find an accommodation. So the front office guy suggested us to talk with the Manager, Mr. Gede, who revealed a really nice and kind person and immediately found a solution: he proposed us to stay in the villa using just the ground floor (a villa is a 2-storey structure able to host 4 people) at a reasonable price, including breakfast and free wifi.
The Sri Phala is immerged into a nice garden, absolutely quiet, clean and all staff was so nice and helpful with us, so that we wish to come again and stay more. A very special thanks to Mr. Gede: we appreciated his kindness, hope to see soon again.
This hotel is now starting a renovation: will get a new second pool and extra rooms by beginning of 2014. For couples absolutely recommended the Deluxe or Superior room, which have identical size but Superior is located upstairs.
