I have stayed at this hotel twice previously and was looking forward to my stay again. Talk about making a mistake. I dont know what has happened but things have changed dramatically since last here. The breakfast, which previously had been amazing seemed to lack the scope and style of before, the service a little less enthusiastic or vigilant, a broken coffee machine the first two days but what was intolerable was their complete lack of care for the customers. I know Bali rains and Im aware the deluge can be extreme but after raining over night you would assume the safety of guests would be a priority.........nope. After slipping badly between floor levels due to huge amounts of water on the stairs (despite rain having stopped 3 hours prior) i went to reception who merely asked wha room number i was from and said thanks. As this didnt sit to well with me i expressed my disappointment not to mention I had injured myself to which they responded "would you like to talk to a supervisor". Four hours later the water was still there and only after I rang them and requested to speak to the Duty Manager did I get a feeble apology and an offer of some ice for my pain.
