Had breakfast here several times (appreciated the aircon as well as the food) and got into the habit of getting a sandwich or roll to take back to the hotel for a light lunch. I also succumbed to a couple of cakes.

I stumbled upon this great little bakery and cafe a few weeks after the soft opening...and I've been back at least once per week since. Fabulous selection of breads, desserts, pastries, pretzels and bagels...yes, real bagels in Sanur! I haven't found anything yet that isn't fresh and wonderful. Hmmm...time for a Bread Basket lunch...
Outdoor dining deck should be open any day now...

hi rakauf,
Your visits are surely a delight for us. Thanks for your encouragement to us and to the staffs, we surely are happy and always keep maintaining our service and the quality of the bread. YES, at the moment, the only Bagel in SANUR.
Cheers,
Joshua

What a fabulous little find! We're locals to Sanur and often miss the 'Western' type of bread (as opposed to the much sweeter bread more common in Asia), so we feel incredibly lucky to finally have a local bakery that satisfies our craving for the types of bread we grew up with in Australia.

We were actually referred to Bread Basket by Au Bon Marche because we commented how delicious their dinner roll was. They then told us that the little gems are from Bread Basket.

So far, we've tried their sliced bread (very good), pretzel (served warm - yum!) and ham & cheese sandwich on multigrain roll (delish). Keen to try their other all day brekky menu, cake slices and coffee. Service was good - friendly and forgiving (we had a toddler with us who was keen on spilling water randomly), and price is excellent (pretzel was IDR 9,000, ham & cheese was 25,000). Will definitely be back!

HI Emma,
We are so glad that you love our bread, and please say thank you to the owner of Au Bon Marche if you've got the chance for their referral.
Most of our bread are European bread and 60-70 % of the bread ingredients are imported from oversea.
Hope to see you around at our place.
Cheers,
Josh

Had breakfast here two times. It was perfectly fine the first time, and good enough to come a second time - however, I´m not dying to pay a third visit.

Staff is friendly and efficient, cafe looks very clean and neat. Dishes are a bit basic compared to other places, though. I ordered yoghurt with muesli/granola, but got muesli/granola with a dash of yoghurt - a rather fry experience. It could also have been an advantage to offer freshly squeezed juices instead of Minute Made, to spice things up a bit.
Lastly whatever went on in the kitchen, it sounded like hardcore popcorn popping and was quite annoying.

All in all, this place was completely fine, but I simply feel a little disappointed.
