La Playa Café is situated next to the Bali Hyatt Sanur on the beachfront. The food was fantastic the seafood platter was the best I have had in Bali we went back the next night and I had the sweet and sour pork and the pork was so tender it just melted in your mouth. The drinks were always cold and the service was prompt and the staffs are all happy and friendly.
I was so surprised at the price of the food it was not expensive and it was all fresh.
We also enjoyed being on the beach because it was a lot cooler than being stuck in a restaurant.
We will be back next time we are in Bali.

Enjoyed a lovely lunch at this restaurant right on the beach. Cap cay had great selection of fresh vegetables. Two of us chose the Bali Rinsfadel for 2 ( sorry cant spell it) and it was a wonderfully presented selection of Bali foods with all the accompaniments. Attentive service added to our enjoyment of this venue.

Beachside, next door to the Bali Hyatt, this place is perfect for an evening meal with sand in your toes, and the gentle breeze flowing through. Idyllic.Tried this place twice, after friends raved about it from 3 visits in 2 weeks.First time on a Sunday night (Relief chef)..and to be honest was a disapointment. best said...avoid Sundays. But, gave it another shot, and was very impressed..The Owner/Chef was back and the food and plates were hot, the beer very cold...and the Grilled Mahi Mahi with Sambal on the side was great. Staff were very attentive and had direction, Setting is great, fresh, new and has a glass fronted kitchen that gives cleanliness a huge tick. Chef / Owner was keen to get feedback on both visits, and was pleased to get a 2nd chance...they didn't waste it! Very good beach fare

For a light lunch of the Indonesian vegetable salad with peanut sauce, called Gado Gado, this is the place. On the beach with a lovely outlook, it is virtually next door to the Hyatt, and from what we could see, their Balinese Rijsttafel (a large choice of dishes) looks excellent, too. Prices are very reasonable and it is a comfortable restaurant, too.

Spotlessly clean beachfront setting next door to The Hyatt. Kitchens on show so you can see the chefs, doesn't happen very often in Bali. Very good selection of Balinese Indonesian and European food. I would recommend the chicken noodle soup, best i've tasted here, even compared with the hotels and the beef rendang is to die for! The prices are a quarter of the ones at the hotel. My husband had grilled lobster for £13!!! Staff are so friendly. Toilets spotless. Absolutely no bad points at all. If you are lucky enough to be in Bali, don't miss this one. Happy eating!!
