“I will never go to Bali again”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 25, 2013

We paid $170 per night for a garden view room while booking online. When we got there they told us that we have been upgraded to a better room. I became suspicious and I checked the rates again and I noticed that the prices have been changed, the garden view room was only about 90$ per night and not 170$ so we already paid for a better room!!

Any way, there was not no tooth brush in the room. and there was no handle to hang the towels after using them. you just have to leave them on the sanity units.
The beach was dirty and there was a lot of dirty and sick dogs walking around the beach club restaurant or lying down next to you on the beach.
The ocean has Jelly fish and the water is so dirty, but the hotel has not any sign of warning to make you aware. I saw the sign in the Sanur beach hotel. but it was too late, I have got rashes on my chest and arms that seems allergy to the ocean or pool water!!

Generally speaking Bali is not a good place for holiday. Do not go to Bali at all!! it is nothing compare to Phuket or other places. It is a disaster. dirty and dirty and dirty. not so many options for food and entertainment. instead it is place of disease !! Mosquito bites, allergy reactions and so many other diseases no matter how careful you are.

“Great variety in a relaxed atmosphere”

Service is friendly and meals are quick to arrive. They have a great variety and we enjoyed cake & coffee in the afternoon. Meals are a good size and drinks are icy cold.

“Great value for money”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 28, 2013

We were walking up the beach from the Regent Bali when we came across this restrauraunt, which is situated on the beach. For 700 000 rupiah we got 2 large pizzas, 2 nasi goreng, and 4 drinks (including two very generous servings of Jack Daniels and a vicious Long Beach Iced Tea). The food was yummy, only bad thing to say about the place was that the Pina Colada we got was pretty dismal - watery, tasteless and small.

“Lovely location”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 21, 2013

There was a wide range of national and international dishes to choose from. Well cooked and reasonably priced. The beach and sea being so near gave a lovely setting.

“Variety, all-hours dining!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 20, 2013

We stayed at the Puri Santrian, so we ate here many times during our stay for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It was definitely one of the nicest restaurants in the area and the menu had a wide variety of surprisingly-good Western and Balinese dishes. Many options for dining: outdoors on the beach, outdoors on the boardwalk, inside, etc. The price is more expensive than surrounding restaurants, but it is well worth it. The staff was always polite and helpful. We had to pay special attention to what we ordered because of food allergies (nuts, shellfish and coconut), the staff was understanding and compassionate.
