We had a wonderful 3 night stay. Some of the rooms are in older building and the first room we were given smelt quite damp, but the staff were extremely helpful and we were soon moved to another room upstairs, which was great. We had some perfect days laying on the beachfront and wish we could have stayed longer. The breakfasts here are amazing, and we really enjoyed the Thursday night bali dinner. Definitely recommend staying here.

it was nice resort at sanur. its environment give relax and calm conditions, after routine bussiness. whats give minus value only that management should upgrade the room at beach wing. some of bathroom accesories should be upgrade, including the tv model. its very old still using "tube TV".

the beach club actually give good atmosphere, just it seem constructed on public space, i mean that resort property constructed at beach area/public area with permAnent structure. if we look from offshore side, beach club structure is advanced from natural shoreline, and give view that seems the sandy beach is retreat/eroded. but actually no, just because the structure advancing to sea side, give image that the beach is narrow. goverment should pay attention on this, the utilization by private on public space.

anyway, nice, relax and calm resort atmosphere you can find here..

Lovely hotel in Bali. Staff is very friendly. Pools are great and relaxing.

Grounds are very pretty. Highly recommend.

Ate breakfast at the hotel once or twice, but there are a lot of restaurants within walking distance. So it is very easy to just walk up the street to different places.

One day as we got out of a taxi, the valet asked us about our day. As we were talking, he asked what we had planned for tomorrow. We had nothing booked, So he helped set us up with a car and driver for the next day. It worked out perfectly - the driver took us to Ubud and we went on a walking tour of some farming areas to look for some exotic birds with a guide (Interesting actually). Afterwards, we had drinks and lunch at a pub. He waited on us, took us around the town a bit more and brought us back. This was incredibly inexpensive - all arranged by the valet.
Very friendly / helpful bunch!

The staff at the hotel is really friendly and helpful. The beach is gorgeous and the pool area is also great. The rooms are large and comfortable although they're not particularly modern. The food is also delicious in the hotel restaurant.

The only major drawback of the hotel is the fact that it's located in Sanur which is pretty quiet but if you're a couple that's just looking to kick back and relax it's ideal.

Initial check in to Garden Room, very smooth and quick. We were disappointed with the bathroom in the garden room - woeful. Dated, terrible shower and a grey shower curtain that probably originally was white. Very dead towels. That said, everything was very clean and the service was friendly and efficient. As others have stated with their rooms, we also had a problem with our toilet, that kept flushing and flushing. We arranged pre check in to break our package for one night while we went to Lovina. We had to check out and pay for the water we used at the mini bar on check out. We request that on our return we be upgraded to a Club Room on the ground floor, and paid another $60 a night for the two nights we were to be there. On arrival back from Lovina, tired, we suffered an excrutiatingly slow re check in; to be eventually told that they had decided to upgrade us to the premium room in the hotel at no extra charge; and there were only two rooms like this. I asked the concierge why they were honestly doing this, was the Club full on the ground floor (as paid for by us prior); and he said yes, it was. We were taken to the new room, which was pretty ordinary, about the same as the garden room really, but it looked out into a building site with yellow fencing around it and saw no sun, and lo and behold, it was not made up. Our porter went away and then returned 15 mins later to say, the options were - we could wait for the room to be made up and cleaned (it was no better in our opinion that the garden room); or we could go to the Club Room second floor. Both of us were so tired after 7 hours on the road, that we felt like screaming. We had a look at the second floor Club Room which was nice, great bathroom (Hallelujah) and settled on that. No apology offered, and no offer for late check out or anything. I then found, once our luggage arrived, that there were no hand towels or washers, so again, waited for them to arrive. No recompense. This was a nice hotel, even our initial garden room was pleasant (other than for the bathroom); but given that we were so stuffed by the time of the second check in, and how long it took for it to be resolved; I do think late check out or a free dinner or SOMETHING would've been a good approach. Both rooms had toilet flushing problems. We thought the breakfast buffet was at the better end of the many we have eaten on our travels. Lovely gardens, no fitness centre, but great yoga Mon - Fri, free.

Room Tip: Garden room okay except for the bathroom which is dated and the shower is terrible. Unless you cann...

Stayed at this hotel in August 2013. Located at southern end of Sanur and there were plenty of nice restaurants within 15 minutes walk. Not too many bars and so whole area was quite quiet. The hotel though was really good with nice large bedrooms and plenty of good sized pool areas. We were advised to book a room in the Club area as the pool does not allow children but really the pool is very sheltered and to this end it was too hot (no breeze at all) and consequently we spent all the time either on the beach or by one of the other pools. These were still pretty quiet. So don't pay the extra cost of a Club room just to have a child free pool! All staff were very friendly and helpful. We also had complimentary afternoon tea which came with freshly prepared sweet and savoury items. The sea here is very safe with a very gentle shelf. There are also some good beach bars and restaurants for cheap drinks and snacks at lunchtime.
