a great place to relax and just sit back and enjoy life... the staff were always friendly and very helpful...we were upgraded to a superior garden view room...we were on the 2nd storey overlooking the pool...we only booked for 5 nights, but would gladly have stayed for longer...Lovely pool area....we never had the buffet breakfast, we chose our own...and OMG it was fantastic...the French toast was to die for...as were the pancakes. the only downfall was that they didn't serve Bintang, only bali hai beer...plenty of restaurants to go to on the beachfront and the roadside...so all in all we had a fantastic stay, and would definitely go back again....

Located in quieter section of Sanur. Great location on beach and the swimming pools were nice. Very relaxing stay amongst tropical gardens. Made use of the onsite spa for daily massage. Lots of restaurants and few shops around and can walk 45 mins up boardwalk on beach to Sindu Beach to markets and more restaurants.

on the beach and great gardens. we were upgraded to a suite which was nice, however aircon a little too small for the room. The staff were friendly but slow especially at the Beach Club bar during "happy hour"
The resort does not have a free airport shuttle and it cost 160.000indr and next time we will pay the driver directly. Apparently the drivers are not paid for some time.
the tax and service tax at this resort makes it more expensive than some other dining areas in Bali..
Flower arrangements in the reception area were fantastic.
Great family hotel as it has a number of smaller pools as well as the beach.

Room Tip: rooms on higher floors have a better sea view however the gardens are very pleasant. the hotel does...

Just got back from a 6 night stay at this hotel with my boyfriend. The Puri Santrian was the perfect place to relax and unwind. The setting is beautiful with lots of little places to sit and admire the scenery (the hotel is done very traditionally, only two storey buildings and beautiful landscaping). The pools and the beach are very well maintained and have a mixture of shade and sun sun loungers, which was ideal as it was very hot (a good range of loungers and we never had a problem getting a sunlounger at the pool or beach whatever the time of day). The staff were fantastic and super friendly, they made the stay very easy and were happy to anything they could to help and make the trip special. We had a beautiful room that overlooked the pool, it had a huge balcony and was very clean with maid service daily. The food was great but there are many other options that are just as good outside the hotel at lower prices. The Puri Santrian was a little bit of paradise on a beautiful stretch of white sandy beach and I really couldn't recommend it enough.

We have just returned home after 12 nights at Puri Santrian. This is a lovely hotel with fantastic grounds and gardens. It is tranquil and peaceful with very friendly staff. We stayed in a club room and the club pool is excellent. The only negative is we stayed on the first floor and we had an adjoining door which allowed us to hear the people next door. Apparently all the first floor rooms have adjoining doors. I don't understand why as children under 12 aren't allowed there. The breakfast was nice and the meals at both restaurants were good. You can also just walk along the beach path to other restaurants which are a lot cheaper. We liked the restaurants to the right if facing the water.

Room Tip: The club rooms are nicer.

We stayed here for eight nights and stayed in a club room. We were really happy with the hotel. It was very clean and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast was great, we ate at the mezzanine restaurant three nights and we thought it was great food at a good price. The gardens were well kept and we enjoyed the Balinese feel to the hotel. We also did the cooking class and had a great time. I used the spa for a massage and while you can find cheaper ones I loved the ambience and the whole spa feel of the place. My husband felt like the bed in the club room was too hard for hi but I didn't mind it. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

I have just stayed 3 nights at the Puri Santrian in Sanur.

First of all I must say the staff were fantastic! Went to the ends of the earth to help me get back my lost luggage, then when we accidentally (stupidly) left our safe unlocked, room service immediately notified the managers and they wrote everything down we had in there before locking the safe for us. When we checked there was not one thing missing, not even a small note or change! I was very impressed by this.

The pool facilities were beautiful, 2 pools, the main one had a swim up bar. Main pool about 10m away from beach (no waves) and there were little pontoons you could swim out to, very cute!!

The rooms were basic (admittedly we stayed in the cheaper rooms, the more expensive ones looked abit nicer). But they had everything that you needed and were clean.

Sanur itself is very quiet, mostly dominated with European (Dutch!) tourists, which was nice to escape the loud mouth Aussies who dominate Kuta/Seminyak. But not a very happening place if your more into nightclubs.

Snorkelling was fantastic, not off Sanur itself but if you took a jetboat out to Lembongan Island (about 45 mins) then hired a traditional boat to take you to the reef, it was well worth a trip.

Overall had a great stay, if your wanting to stay in Sanur it's worth considering.
