Superior room was small, include bath tub but the water is not hot enough for a bath. Water pressure is small with average amenities for a 5 star hotel. Balcony was full of flies from the night before so obviously nobody has been into the room prior to our checked in, and we were in at about 12pm! The bellman was attentive enough to call housekeeping to clean and they're arrive withing minutes. Mini bar was full but expensive. Nice and tidy garden view. The pool was great, we didn't know that they have 3 swimming pool until too late as nobody informed us. The staff are wearing 'ask me' badge so we need to ask to be informed?? anyway the food was delicious, the best beef satay taste with plenty of sauce yum.. varieties of ice cream and cheap, it's only 15,000 rupiah. Food price was reasonable for a hotel. Breakfast is average with good choice of juice. White beach with plenty of long chair. It has a perfect location for a quiet and slightly busy place, we did enjoy our time there. Sanur in general is a great place to spend either with family or just want to chill by oneself..

Room Tip: our room is on the first floor which is perfect for kids.

The hotel is nice with good view of the sea. Breakfast is great with many kinds of food. While, I booked a sixty minutes SPA, the SPA girl only used less than forty minutes! She thought I was not sure about the time, but I checked time from my cellphone. After argument, she kept doing SPA for me for about ten minutes, but the time was still not enough, and she kept on again. I had no mood in SPA any more. Anyway. No recommendation of having SPA in this hotel.

The staff is very efficient, the hotel was clean, food was good, and we were very comfortable staying here for 5 nights. We had a beautiful view of the beach and the hotel grounds from our balcony. At the front desk, we hired a driver for the day and he took us to popular spots that we would not have found on our own, including temples, a barong dance show, wood carvers, a batik factory and an art shop. We enjoyed him so much that we called him 2 other days too.
We loved the sunrises and the water and sand at the beach.

Room Tip: A room facing the beach or hotel grounds is best

I stayed at the Deluxe Seaview, so upon waking up, you'll be greeted with a panoramic view of the ocean plus the sound of the waves. Fantastic but the only setback is the hotel rooms are old and need refurbishing badly. There are plenty of hotels nearby within walking distance, so if one feels it is too pricey here, then many alternatives available.

This old lady is a shadow of her former glory - remnants of grandeur are evident when entering the lobby and of course the location at the beach is an advantage, but it's not a beach you want to lie on nor would you want to swim there. Brown sand with occasional litter and slimy seaweed.

The only redeeming features of this hotel are - comfy bed and professional reception staff.

The rooms are a disgrace. Filthy stained carpets - at least 20 years old and the original buttons operating the lights are falling apart. The chair in the room has a collapsed seat. The AC controls didn't function.

The breakfast is the worst I have had in years and ordering breakfast in the room gives you the option of having bacon and ham but it's a locally produced variety which is horrid. Pastries are of poor quality. Room service food was otherwise quite good.

Spend a few million to fix this place or burn it to the ground or strip it of its 5 star rating. It's 3 stars at best. I give it 3 stars because it's cheap and so it should be.

Nice hotel. Spacius rooms, good breakfast, good location. Personell is friendly. The room can use a renovation and a bit more water through the shower. It is a small walk to the city center of sanur, nut if you take the path at the beach it is no problem.

But overall a nice hotel to spent soms days.

I have been staying at this hotel since 1980 it has always been a pleasure and it continues to improve. The best location on the most interesting beach in the world. I prefer a corner tower roomwith a viewbof Agung, but most Uk travellers prefer the garden rooms. The staff will always try to accomodate your requests. Just be polite and respectful. Tipping is useful buy not expected.
the chefs will cook anything you ask for given notice so just plan ahead please. I have reccommended this to many people and have no hesitation in doing so here.
