“A break from the local fare”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 16, 2014

We ate local fare for most of the trip but we started to feel the need for a break, this had lovely food which my family really enjoyed. The pizza Bianco was brilliant. I enjoyed the beetroot salad and the dips were delicious. It is pricey by comparison to other local eateries. The staff were a bit disinterested. They offered continuous fruit water refills for $1 which was good. There was a small wedding happening in a glassed in area while we were there, it looked lovely.

“Worst meal of our entire trip”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 16, 2014 via mobile

Sorry to the person who thought the laksa was good but we have had hundreds of them and this one tasted like dishwater!
Plus my seafood salad was cold and tasted like canned seafood.
We all had to go and have gelato afterwards to get rid of the aftertaste.
And it was the most expensive meal of the trip.
We chose the restaurant because he had some good reviews here and looked child friendly. It couldn't have been further from the truth!
Avoid. Choose Cafe Batu Jimbar instead or Charming.

When we found out there was another restaurant in Sanur we immediately booked twice again! We were not disappointed:) lovely food and excellent service. Wish I could take both restaurants home with us. I will be referring this place to anyone who will listen!

Loved this restaurant. Amazing food, good prices and the granitas were perfect on a balmy night. So good we went back asap.

“Gem of a restaurant”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 13, 2014

We just enjoyed a lovely dinner at Three Monkeys in Sanur. It's a bit pricier than some of the other options nearby but the quality of the food, drinks and ambiance make the price point just right. I enjoyed a grouper fillet with a lovely butter sauce and my husband had a terrific tuna and spinach dish. Perhaps the star of the meal though was our ice cold, very dry martinis with crisp salty olives. Not always an easy find in SE Asia.
