“Good place, but a little bit noise and expensive”
Reviewed January 15, 2013

I came here becasue I wanted a budguet place with pool.
I didn't expect too much, so it was ok, the room with fan, tv, and toilet was ok and seems to be clean.
The pool was also ok, is just that it was a little bit dirty becasue of wind.
The problem here is that it was a very noise place for me, from one hand, they are building a new place to pray inside the hotel, and, from the other, the staff were chopping and cutting food to cook very close to the room, so it was also very noise.
They offer wifi and an ok breakfast.
Location is good, just nex to the night market, and walking distance to te beach.
The best here is that you get discount for masagge

On our arrival, there was a cockroach welcoming us to our room. Rooms are really disgustingly dirty and it seems like bathroom has never been cleaned properly. I'm not a picky traveller and been backbacking around Indonesia and even for my standards this was too dirty. It's a shame for this place because it could have potential if the place would be kept clean. Rooms have Ac, refrigerator and even tv and the price is 28 euros for a night. Breakfast was really bad as well: toast with only margarine, few pieces of watermelon and a cup of coffee. The only good thing I can think about is that the beds are very comfortable and I had a really good night sleep here. But still, can't recommend it to anyone!

The building and rooms are rather old and needs a makeover. Went to the spa (which is quite big), took a two hours package. Massage was ok, body scrub was mediocre at best. The masseurs while friendly, can be seen to be either overworked and exhausted or simple just indifferent. Comparing the price in Bali, I definitely expected a bit more (better environment, more committed masseurs).

I really wanted to like this hotel and come back, i thought for the prices it was really good, sure it is a little worn but that is to be expected in alot of older hotels, unfortunately alot of places dont keep up to maintenance, i dont think the interior or exterior of the hotel was bad at all, the staff were very friendly too and their is a nice restaurant and pool area.
However on waking the next morning we knew we wouldnt come back, our hotel had a gap on the top of the door and we got a lot of mosquitos, now where we live if we turn on the AC the mozzies keep away but i think there was just too many in the room for that to be effective and our poor baby got 30+ bites just on his face :( My mum and stepdad stayed in the room next to us and didnt have problems with mozzies though.

Room Tip: we stayed in the first room u come to so maybe avoid that one!

I just love coming to abian srama spa for a relaxing massage. Two hours of peaceful bliss and not expensive at all. The wonderful friendly staff make you feel so good and a lovely bath in the huge tub after the treatment is so wonderful.
It does get quite busy sometimes so booking ahead is a good idea, wish i could be ther every day!!

Room Tip: best massage rooms are further to the back where it is quieter.

We only spent one night here on our arrival in Bali but one was enough. The rooms are very dated and in dire need of recorating with fresh paint etc. The bathroom was very old and in need of updating. Staff was very helpful and friendly of course as everywhere in Bali. However, they did not have much information on ferries and other tourist transport services. There is a swimming pool and hotel is walking distance to Pizza hut, other eateries and ATM's etc as located in a main street of Sanur on way to the beach. I did not notice the "Spa" connected to the hotel.
