“New hotel great; Staff superlative!!”
Reviewed September 25, 2012

We were most impressed with the staff! Being our first visit, they assisted with calling tour company which I had located prior to coming. However, the most impressive detail was that we had to check out at 10am, prior to our tour on our last day. We then returned at 5pm, had a dinner engagement at 7pm and then needed a taxi to airport at 10pm. We were 'homeless' for the entire day. This staff held our bags all day, provided us with a 'courtesy' room for a shower and change of clothes at 5pm, and then called our taxi which was waiting for us upon our return to the resort after dinner!! I was absolutely amazed at their friendly smiles and helpfulness--never would have thought we would get a chance for a shower prior to leaving !!

The room was basic with a double bed (which was actually a king-size), a/c, refrigerator, tv, phone, hair dryer, shampoo and shower gel!! We had a small porch over looking the pool. It was lovely. It was also very quiet--some children in the pool being children--but after 10pm there was not a sound. We did walk to the beach (5 min) and were disappointed in it, so our stay at the hotel was perfect, and nicely located among restaurants. We ate at Three Monkeys--very good-- a short 5 minute walk. Breakfast was adequate: pancakes, eggs, cereal, salads, potatoes, sausage, juices, pastries, fruit, coffee/tea (which was incl in the room cost).

We were most pleased at the cleanliness of the hotel; the cost was perfect; I can't say enough about the staff !! It is not the Hilton, but it met all our needs, and more.
We will certainly recommend this resort to friends, and should we ever return, we would not hesitate to stay here. It was a lovely hotel.

Room Tip: We stayed in 1408--at the end of the hall. Our small porch overlooked the pool. We did hear children...

Location were quite central in Sanur. There were lots of restaurants along the streets and there were a supermarket (Hardy) just beside the hotel. We stayed in a duplex family room with a separate twin bedroom upstair. It's good for older kids but not meant for toddler as the stairs were rather narrow and steep. Bed were comfortable. But found that the pool were unsually freezing cold which make you can't stay long in the pool. Overall, it would be okay for a short stay.

Lovely foyer and lobby, good impression. The staff were all lovely, very obliging and helpful. Booked a Cabana, advertised as 62sqm with plunge pool. The room measured about 30sqm, if you include the bathroom, decking AND pool the area is about 55sqm. The mattress is one of the hardest I have ever had, most uncomfortable but the linen was changed daily, very clean. The Cabana Rooms are at the rear of the hotel, plunge pool is lovely, water a little too cold for me though. Staff left us fresh pool towels every day too, nice touch. Night time amplifies the loud drone of the air con unit of the building next door and the constant barking of dogs will disturb any sleep you may be lucky enough to get. Had planned to stay 9 nights but couldn't bear it so after 3 nights we moved to another hotel.

Was really looking forward to our stay in Sanua but the our experience at this hotel spoilt it. First impression on entering foyer was great staff very friendly. Our room was quite small but comfortable, because we were near a walkway could not leave balcony door open people walking past could see right in. The noise at all hours was very bad.Breakfast was very average not a lot of choice for western tastes. Wi fi did not work in our room only on balcony if you found the right spot. Would not stay again mainly due to the noise factor.

Room Tip: Difficult to find a good room if you want quiet.

A big improvement for me was the no smoking area at breakfast. I didnt enjoy breakfast on my previous visit as just about everyone smoked but now the smokers have their own area. The noise i also experienced was from other guests that have absolutely no respect for fellow guests, they bang doors shout in the corridors it was terrible, but not much the hotel can do. The only suggestion i have is i would like some umbrellas round the pool you either fry on one side of the pool or sit in total shade on the other. Another improvement is the beach club, the hotel has it's own bit of beach with loungers and umbrellas. Hotel location is great right in the middle of town next to Hardys. Construction is underway next door so may get a little noisy later on as building progresses. There is no business centre at the hotel although there is free wifi.

The rooms are nice, but it is VERY noisy. We REALLY struggled getting our kids to sleep The noise is from other guests in the hallways, closing doors or swimming in the pool.

The breakfast is nice and the beds and linen are very good. The location is good, though not on the beach. Very close to numerous great restaurants.

We would recommend this hotel to couples without kids.

The showers are modern, but a bit grimey, with moldy grout.

We requested a price for a late checkout...

Upon check- in $54 US
The day before check-out $95 US
When we said no they spoke with the manager. Now $75 US

Wow must have been spinning the wheel of fortune......

Very Modern and friendly staff very accomodating! Booked a deluxe room on arrival was upgraded to lagoon pool room absolutely fantastic! Pool guys were the friendliest really trying to engage in a conversation with you everytime not just the usual greetings. Great selection at breakfast it was a wow factor! Was a bit noisy at first due to constuction next door and the asians staying there, but cocktails and bintangs dulled the noise. Great location. Never ate at the restaurant so couldnt comment but chose to eat at most of the warungs around which was the best value for money no taxes are charged and never get a bad meal! We stayed for 2 nights was charged $100 a night Fantastic value.

Room Tip: I wrote in my comments that I preferred a room with a King bed maybe thats why I got upgraded! but d...
