“Paradise for street food lovers”

The night market here is just wonderful. We had some of the most delicious food of all our travels in SE Asia. Noodles, sate, fried rice, vegetables, fruit... Not to mention the cheap price and the local atmosphere. Best place in Sanur, no doubts.

“Great food, Great atomsphere”

Visited last night on Tripadvisor recommendation. Everything as expected & more!
Buzzy place with "al fresco" dining. Amazing seafood. Pancakes for dessert. Great value.

Not for everyone. It is a traditional outdoor Balinese night market. Sit down on plastic chairs & fold away tables. It is clean, no smells & on site toilets (reasonable). Very friendly. Ex pats we met eat there 80% of the time.

We're going back tonight!

“A lot of Indonesian Cuisine”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 13, 2014 via mobile

Located near by Pantai Sindhu, here you can find such a looooot of indonesian food with cheap price as an alternative instead of another expensive foods at the cafés or bistros. Compared with another traditonal food market, this place is quite clean and comfortable. So it will be considerable as an alternative place

“A Tale of Two Markets”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 7, 2014

PART (1) Pasar Sindhu is the local traditional market. It used to be a dirty smelly place due to the fact that there were no floors and only old wooden structures for holding and displaying the various goods for sale, often the fruit and veg of cuts would be left on the ground to rot and the smell was very unpleasant to say the least. Today it has been up graded the floor and the seller’s stalls are tiled (ceramic) and the whole area is clean. It is worth a visit in the morning to see a traditional market in operation.
Part (2) At night (around 6pm) The traditional market transforms into what is called the “night market” where you can eat traditional local food with the local people, the food is very cheap and many westerners are now enjoying the atmosphere and the food sold, prepare and cooked there on the spot, by venders use the traditional small carts known as Kaki Lima (meaning “five feet”). There are also a few stalls sell various goods, cloths, leather goods, makeup, thongs and shoes etc. The market is worth investigating. We always visit 2-3 times when in Sanur.

“Tick the box !”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 4, 2014

Just to say you've done it + eaten with the locals at this fantastic little night market for dinner.
Have been meaning to give this a crack for a while now + it didn't disappoint.
Many little vendors cooking from a wide selection of carts at ridiculous prices.
Got 10 sate sticks for 12 000rp , then headed over to another cart for a large mie goreng + coke for 20 000rp then a large iced fruit salad for 10 000rp....3 courses for less than 50 000rp !
All meals were very tasty and it was fun sitting down with the locals to eat it all and worth doing every time you visit Sanur !
