Just to say you've done it + eaten with the locals at this fantastic little night market for dinner.
Have been meaning to give this a crack for a while now + it didn't disappoint.
Many little vendors cooking from a wide selection of carts at ridiculous prices.
Got 10 sate sticks for 12 000rp , then headed over to another cart for a large mie goreng + coke for 20 000rp then a large iced fruit salad for 10 000rp....3 courses for less than 50 000rp !
All meals were very tasty and it was fun sitting down with the locals to eat it all and worth doing every time you visit Sanur !

this review is a little late, as we were in Bali in July 2013. however, our favourite dining spot was chicken satay stall (rice+sattay =10.000). the peanut souce was the best we ever ate. Also some other stalls were good, but not as much as this one. Be carefull if eating "ice" one stall further, as the serwing bowles are really badly "washed". Rather skip it if having sensitive stomack.

there is also a good restaurant with reasonable prices at the market entrance. Try it. they serve cold beer as well :-)

Morning market is not tourist friendly, as all the sellers trippled the prices when seeing white skin. Go to the big market store in the centre of Sanur instead.

It is always Nice to see several foodstalls and enjoying streetfood. Pasar sindhu is a market where your van choose beteren several foodstalls. A platte of Rice/nasi and mest, fish or vegatables, or fried fruit or pastries, drinks, saté: there is choice for everyone.

And for a privé beteren 10.000 and 30.000 rupia's (1 or 2 euro). I van advice your to have your diner here or at ons of the foodstalla st the seaside north of sanur.

I have stayed in Sanur a few times and visited Bali on many occasions, the Sindhu markets is the place to eat, if you like authentic Indonesian food! It's always delicious, and plentiful, my favourite is nasi campur, going next week, and that will be the first place I eat.
