This is one of our favourite places to eat in Sanur. The food is genuine Balinese (chilli, yes!!!) rather than the watered down tourist versions on offer just a few hundred metres away. Locals and tourists share tables together and there's a real sense of community at this little market. We love the Luh De fish stall in the back right corner. You can choose your seafood from the cooler, then pull up a seat and enjoy a cold beer while your dinner is freshly prepared, and after you're done the lovely, smiling owner will serve you some banana fritters along with the bill. Prices are very good too.
This is the real deal, so don't expect posh, but do expect great food amidst a vibrant atmosphere at tiny prices.
