The food portions in this restaurant were tiny. We ordered the shrimp cocktail - which amounted to three small shrimp pieces floating in Russian dressing and a load of lettuce. Same can be said for the avocado shrimp. We asked for bread with our dinner, and were given four small slices of garlic bread. The main courses were pretty mediocre as well. The fish was dry and tasteless. The cocktails were fairly tasteless as well. Not coming back here.

Looking for somewhere special to have our last Bali holiday meal on the beach. Service was good, but not all that friendly, but efficient. The meals didn't look like the pictures on the menu. The 500g of grilled prawns was a major disappointment as they were no bigger than cocktail prawns and were overcooked and dry. Hard to know if I got 500g worth and it was a 30 minute battle to get the flesh out of them. The soy/chilli dip was average and the hollandaise (?) sauce was mostly butter. The vegetables were fresh and well cooked, but a very small serving. Asked for rice instead of chips, but got both (and also charged for the separate rice); the chips were very good. The 500g grilled snapper had lost a lot of weight somewhere as it was only just enough for a small meal; it was well cooked, but a it could use some spices. The chips were very good and only a few vegetables. The noodle dish was good. Bintang beer was cold and the mixed juice was good. Reasonable total price given the location right on the beach. Overall the restaurant was okay, but not memorable and I would try all the others before going back.

This year the beach side restaurant has been made much better. The food is very good value but you must remember there is both tax and service charge added to the bill, but prices are still low. The staff remember you from previous years and who you used to drink and eat with. We found the pizzas were very good.
