“Visit this place for breakfasts”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 24, 2013

Enjoyed a couple of visits here in Dec 2013 for breakfast. Not the biggest venue in town, but cosy and almost 'urban cool'. Food and service was very good; clean kitchen and friendly staff (actually didn't find any unfriendly staff in any of the restaurants in Sanur). Would recommend the full breakfast if you've got a long day ahead. Tried the wheatgrass drink - but unless you're into stewed lawn clippings, wouldn't recommend it.

“Didn't live up to expectations!”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 19, 2013

Granted the food was lovely and it is a pleasant, quirky setting but .... Service was very slow and not very attentive especially when it was not overly busy! There is a lot ofEuropean/Australian food choices on the menu including Devonshire tea! However for 2 adults and 3 children for a full meal including drinks, mains and deserts the bill came to 825,000 RP (high by Bali standards) I am not convinced it deserves it's high ranking on trip adviser and will probably not dine there again unless I feel a bit homesick and need some scones!! Good quality food but not overly good value for money!

This is one of the nicest breakfasts I've had in Bali. Great food, fantastic coffee (in my top 3 in Bali) and the best orange juice (no it didn't taste like tang). Give it a try, you will enjoy it.

Came in for a light lunch - fruit salad the best in town and juices were very good. The mains looked really good, especially salads. Nice atmosphere

“A review from a local”

Perfection all the way! The best brekky I've had in Bali so far. We come here to have brunch more than 3 times in a week. Great coffee and the pavlova is orgasmicly delish! Quick service and friendly staff too. They use fresh ingredients as well which I appreciate very much. Just hate it when you pay decent amount of money to eat food that smells like fridge! Love love Porch Cafe, please keep it up!
