“So So”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 13, 2011

Went there a few days ago to go and drink a coffee. You can find Luthu's Coffee Shop if you take Jl. Pantain Sindhu towards the beach. Once you face the beach you go left and you will find the place right after the parking area with the famous red and white "Illy" coffee brand sign.

Ordered a cappuccino which looked nice but the taste is just as any other place where they sell Illy coffee in Sanur or elsewhere in Bali which is just fine. Nothing more, nothing less. Didn't ordered cake, brownies nor burgers that time.

The thing that disappointed me was the fact that the staff was totally not motivated (that day?). Not even a smile which is normally such a common thing to see in Bali. There was even a waiter sitting at the doorstep and smoking a cigarette! Thirty minutes later he was sitting there again making a phone call...

Looks like there's a spa and beauty salon attached on this place as their toilet was based in that section. Traditional massage cost IDR80.000 and looked at first sight very nice and clean. Maybe it's worthwhile to give it a go...

“Best coffee shop, 100% perfect, all one big happy family”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 12, 2011

Our most favourite place to visit in bali, the staff are amazing, so welcoming and friendly.
Location is perfect, service is brilliant but most of all the brownies are delicious.
Everyone is treated like family and can't wait for next year! :)

“Best Lunch place in Bali”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 9, 2011

We visited this place several times during our stay at Tandjung Sari at Sanur. And it soon become our favorite lunch place. The burger is really good. And the brownie and coffee is the best we had in Bali. Be sure to go here if you stay in Sanur or just visit. You won't regret it!

“Cakes too sweet & dry”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 7, 2011

We bought & took away 3 pcs of cake - carrot cake, Lamington and chocolate cake. All of them were too sweet. The chocolate cake was so dry. It's not cheap also. Ended up threw away all the cakes because all 5 of us didn't want to eat them. The girl who serves us had a sour face too.

“Great carrot cake, average coffee, not too nice service”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 6, 2011

I came here because TA review. The carrot cake is just divine, but I don't find anything special with coffee. After spending 20 minutes, I decide to play on the beach, i asked the waitee that I would like to put my things there and she asked me to move to the front tables, which is far hotter. I don't find anyone in here smiles at us during our visit, which is actually one of the reasons I came here after reading the review. Although i saw that they became very friendly with foreign tourist. Maybe the service for local and foreign tourists is different, I don't know....
