Description: Warung Blanjong has been operating for sixteen years. It is owned by a local Balinese woman, Ketut Mariani, who has lived and cooked in Europe, Australia and Hawaii. Warung Blanjong's speciality is it's Balinese food for which it is justifiably famous. In addition there are Indonesian dishes, some Western dishes and arguably the best hamburgers in Bali. There are Balinese cooking classes available with Ketut and Warung Blanjong does do catering. We look forward to seeing you here to eat with us.

“Best Nasi Campour in Sanur”
Reviewed July 3, 2011

Having eaten out at lots of different places during the last 2 weeks, we were recommended this warung (slightly out of the way on the western edge of sanur) and were not dissapointed - it had THE BEST nasi campour in Sanur! food was fantastic and specialised in authentic Balinese cooking. They apparently also do a cooking class but need 4 people minimum to do it. Enjoy

“Great Indonesian food, excellent value and worth the effort to get here”
Reviewed April 24, 2011

Warung Blanjong is at the south end of Sanur and a little off the beat track but the Rough Guides description suggested that it was worth seeking out. We arrived at just after 8pm and were the only dinners.

The menu offers a good selection of Indonesian food and a large number of vegetarian options with a few Western dishes, mainly burgers thrown in. The prices are extremely good value with mains between 20,000 to 40,000.

The service was prompt and polite and each dish was brought out as soon as it was cooked rather than left sitting around until the entire order was ready.

The food was excellent and portions on the large side, highly recommend and well worth a 5 minute stroll from the main strip.
