“Fresh & tasty breakfast & lunch spot”

My husband, daughter and I have been to this restaurant twice in the last month. We have really enjoyed the food. The cakes and fresh juices are yummy. They have an inside or outside section. It is one of a few places in Sanur with an airconed indoor section, which is a welcome relief from the heat. They are also family friendly and welcomed my 1.5 year old with open arms.

“Moving up in the world”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 9, 2013

Cafe Smorgas was a small humble operation with two staff and a hand-written menu. Their sandwiches were solid and the food was yummy. It has moved way beyond good now and the transformation is amazing. A tasty selection of "everything is good" menu. Congrats guys.

“Good, western style”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 7, 2013 via mobile

Had a fruit salad with yoghurt and muesli: nice, fresh and quick service. They have free WiFi, toilet is clean and staff is nice. Good pick for lunch or a short break. Menu is mostly western.

“Great Food - Great Value”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 3, 2013

My wife and I were staying close by the Cafe Smorgas, and whenever we passed there were always many customers seemingly enjoying their meals. We decided to try for ourselves, and were very impressed with the food and service. We had not eaten Swedish food before so we couldn't say whether it was genuine or not - all we can say is that we enjoyed what we had. Some reviewers didn't like Smorgas, but that is to be expected, you can't please all the people all the time. From the good experiences we had, my advice is give it a try and make your own mind up.
We didn't eat an evening meal here, but we had many lunches that were all delicious. Their baguettes are many and varied, and those that we had were very fresh, generously filled, and tasted great.
