The beach was fine, but no white sand and as paradise-like-looking as we thought it was going to be.
Sanur Beach doesn't have a big wave. So it's save for kids to swim in. And I love seeing the colored boats.
Warm sun, water and beautiful sea shells ! You must rent a beach chair for a low $2.50 AUD a day but it's worth it...Umbrellas and little tables to be had. People will offer you massages, fruit and trips and snorkels, but just be kind and say , firmly, no thank you...Just a lovely beach to read your novel and soak up the healing sun :)
We stayed in Sanur for a less crowded and less noisy part of Bali. And it is worth it. We made sure we are in the beach before 6am to wait for the famous sunrise in Bali at Sanur. Though its a bit rainy, the sun shone on our last morning though the clouds a bit blocked the way. But it was a beautiful sight. Stay here if you want a quite beach. Be a beach bum and walk along the shore. :-)
Beach was okay. Water was clear, but a lot of boats in it close to shore. Fair amount of coral, so sand was not exceptionally soft. Nice and quiet though which was nice, and easy to while away the day with a book and eat from the many beach restaurants.
I like the beach for family vacation both children and adult. The beach is white sand beaches with a lot of water sport and activities for fun
